I wish I was responding well to stims but I usually don't. I'm not currently taking any meds. I had two antral follicles, I wish it was two mature follicles. I don't know if any of those antral follicles matured - I hope one did! We still did lots of this cycle since I detected the positive surge. I've been reading a lot about OPKs and apparently they aren't that reliable in girls with high FHS. I hope it wasn't a false positive!

That's good you did a lot of BD, you just never know, maybe you have ovulated. Do you chart your BBT? I can usually tell when I did ovulate from my temps and my luteal phase lasts about 13 days. I can count backwards when I get AF to see when I ovulated.

I've never really charted - I tried but I couldn't remember to do it. It is funny that you bring it up because I was just thinking about trying to do it again. What exactly do you need to do?

I've been charting for almost a year now just to get an idea of what my cycles were doing. I keep the thermometer by the bed and use it first thing before I get up. Should be done at the same time each day but I have a program through Taking Charge of Your Fertility that adjusts it automatically in case you can't do it each day at the same time. I just enter my numbers when I get up along with cervical mucus, AF and spotting and it tells me when it thinks I have ovulated, the length of luteal phase and when AF is due. It tells you when you are most fertile so you can BD and when to do an OPK. Pretty easy and only takes a couple of extra minutes each day. After you do it for a couple months, you can see your pattern. My temps are definitely better/higher when I'm using progesterone after ovulation. My acupuncturist likes to see the charts as well as my RE. It gives them both a lot of information about my cycles.

I've been thinking about charting again too. I wasn't very good at remembering to take my temp, but I'm willing to give it a try.

Deanna- is that program on a website?

Yes, the website is:

Taking Charge of Your Fertility

You can download it for free for 15 day trial or if you buy the book, it comes with it. I really recommend the software. It's so easy. I think with temping it's something you get used to doing after a while and then it's no big deal. I use a digital thermometer and grab for it first thing when the alarm goes off.

Yes, back to back IUI's. I have another ultrasound tomorrow morning and may trigger tomorrow night if it looks good. I'll probably have 3 follicles in the running. I was quite surprised to respond so well to the Gonal-F.

Deanna - did you trigger yet? I can't wait to hear how everything went.

I had a P4 done yesterday to see if I ovulated this cycle. It isn't looking good so far and we just found out that DH's motility is worse then we thought. Zero are swimming in a straight line and the urologist was very concerned about that. So even if I ovulated, it doesn't look like any of the boys would have made it to the finish line.

Danielle, I'm so sorry to hear that DH motility is not good. It's so hard when the IF is on both sides. Keep that chin up. You just never know.

I am going to trigger tonight. It looks like 4 follicles now, 3 for sure and the 4th looks good. My first IUI is tomorrow morning and then another one on Thurs morning. I'm doing acupuncture right before 1st one and right after the 2nd one. I'm hoping this will be the one.

Shelli and Danielle, how many follies did you both have when you had medicated IUI's? Did they use high doses to stim? I think I responded this well because they used high stim.

The doctor didn't say why DH's motility is so poor. He wants him to come back in 2 weeks for another SA using his lab (the other SA was from the RE's lab). I wish I was there b/c I'm sure I would have asked more questions and I can't go to his next appt. because I'll be in Boston.

On a positive note my CD22 P4 came back and it was 18.7 and the nurse said that means I ovulated!!! I was so excited to hear that news. Even during stims my P4 only got up to an 11 on CD21.

Deanna - 4 follies is awesome! I think this will be your month between the great number of follies and the acupuncture. I never had more than one follie with meds but my old RE never had me on high dose stims even though I repeatedly asked for a higher dose. Good luck!!:babydu st:
