My doctor is prescribing Provera every 4 weeks to induce a period (I am on Vivelle-dot estrogen patch for estrogen replacement). I am wondering if there is a bio-identical progesterone I could take instead. My insurance works at typical pharmacies like Walgreens, Walmart or Target but not at compunding pharmacies. Any suggestions of a prescription progesterone that is bio-identical that could be obtained at chain pharmacy by prescription?
