I am sorry that you are going through this. I have POF and have found a lot of support and answers at
The International Premature Ovarian Failure Association and
Early Menopause.com. You should also check out
Premature Ovarian Failure - Home. When you take HRT you are replacing the hormones that you body is not making. Doctors are not hopeful that women with POF can conceive using their own eggs because they they generally have very few eggs or no eggs left. HRT does help with symptoms and also protects your bones and heart. A very small percentage of women still get pregnant while taking HRT. I think it is about 1% of all women with this condition conceive naturally. My understanding is that you are less likely to get pregnant while taking BCP, but you have a better chance of getting pregnant on your own with vivelle dot and provera or prometrium. Donor egg is the best option for getting pregnant, but you do have to use someone else's eggs.
I wish you all the best.
