Luteal Phase defect

Hi,
I have been diagnosed with Luteal Phase defect. I was wondering has anyone out there overcome this diagnosis. We have tried with no luck and turned to adoption. \
Since we have now adopted I would like my child to have a sibling and would like to consider treatments for infertility again.
I was just wondering if anyone has the same problem and if they ever did acheive pregnancy.

Hmm.. My problem is not yours, but I believe it is
similar. My ovaries seem to under work and some
months I do not ovulate. I concieved my son with
Clomid but now (after being seen by a homeopathic doctor) I come to find out that clomid actually
messed some function in my ovaries. I have to
get this "corrected". My doctor does accupressure
and prescribes natural supplements. If you are
interested in finding out more on this subject feel free
to pm me. Good luck with your journey!

I have other issues on top of it- but I think that they could either treat it with Clomid- which improves the entire cycle, or with progesterone supplements. The progesterone should lengthen your luteal phase and make your uterus more hospitable for implantation. I think shots are the most common, but my doctor actually likes the vaginal suppositories.
