So this morning is the first time while on meds that I use ovulations tests. So this morning I was instructed to start testing. Apparrently I was nervous (and I needed to pee so bad). So I was scrambling to get the stick and a cup and not make a mess. I open the instructions skim though them and then after I put the stick in the cup I realize something. The box that I bought had a pregnancy test in there too. "free pregnancy test" it said. OH, Crap! I try to use the little bit of pee that I have left for an ovulation test but then I put the **** thing in wrong. Moral of the story.............be prepared in advace and read you instructions top to bottom. Guess I'll be testing at lunch today?

LOL! I was worried about that and had read all my instructions, but I still had to do the "dance" till I got the test opened and ready to go! What we go through huh?!

Have you noticed any ovulation signs yet? I actually got a change in my fertility monitor reading today!!! It was at "high" instead of "low"!! No "peak" reading yet but I think that may be coming in the next few days. I did notice a change in CM so that's a positive thing too! I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

well I have to go home at lunch and check again b/c of all of the mess this morning. but i dont think that im ovulating yet. i have felt wierd little things though, like cramps or something. i hope that means that my ovaries are responding to the meds.

did you buy a monitor? how do you like it? if nothing happens this cycle i will get one i guess. but then again if this cycle doesnt work out then i have to take meds next month and be monitored at the office, so i guess i wont need it.

Yeah, I went ahead and bit the bullet and bought a monitor. Really expensive, but with my cycles all over the place I felt like it was the only way I could really know for sure if I was ovulating. I'm also 2 hours away from my RE so being monitored there would be a last resort.

So far, I really like my monitor. I'll like it a lot more and consider it money well spent if I get pregnant while using it!! hehehe

wow 2 hours away. those are all day events huh?

guess i didnt realize how lucky i am. from work it takes me like 5 min, and home like 10. but we live in a small town.

Yeah it is an all day event! I live out in the boondocks (which I love) but it does make it a little more difficult to be monitored. But, I'm really hoping it won't take that! I'm hoping that I get pregnant this month and don't have to worry about it!

My theory is this: I just sank a bunch of money into a fertility monitor, the test strips, Femara, and went ahead and filled the Clomid for next month just in case, SO, having prepared for a long battle I'm hoping luck will give me a break!

amen to that. i spent about $100 on all this stuff and it's well worth it if it works.

of course i must be the biggest retard ever. when i went home to test at lunch....i messed up again. i will try one more time today. if it doesn't work this time - i'm just gunna buy a new box of test strips.

LOL!! I'm just glad I'm not the only one who finds all this stuff kinda hard to figure out! I had to sit down and read through the directions on that monitor a couple of times before I understood everything totally.

My monitor showed "high" fertility again today and I'm have a few little pangs in my lower left abdominal area, so I'm really hoping that I'll ovulate this month! I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but I can't really help it!

Ever think that you can handle whats going on and then a phone call can throw you off?

I was just about to start typing about these **** ovulation test when my mom call to let me know that a friend is pregnant. I'm not angry that shes pregnant, timing is just bad.

I'm pretty sure I either missed the day that I was ovulating, or the meds didn't work at all. Either way I doubt I'll be pregnant by Christmas. Which was my second pregnancy goal.

I know exactly what you mean. I just found out Saturday that another aquaintance was pregnant. I told my SIL that it was like being punched in the gut.

I'm also despairing with the ovulation thing. I've been checking every day, and my monitor went up to "high" fertility 6 days ago and hasn't moved since. I don't know if I'm going to get a positive ovulation test this time. I'm thinking the drugs didn't work. I'm on CD18 now I believe and I would have thought that ovulation would have occurred by now if it was going to.

I don't know what I'm going to do next month. I can't decide whether to give Femara one more try or go back to Clomid. The next step, the first of next year some time, would be injectables. I was just hoping it wouldn't take that.

I'm not sure what he is going to want to do. I will have to set up and HSG and a SA for my husband and I. He let us do the Femera without any extreme testing just to see if my ovaries would work on thier own.

I do have a friend who just did IVF and she said that sometimes she would ovulate on day 17. so !

Im nervous to do injectables too. But even more nervous about IUI and IVF.

ok, so today is the day! I thought that I missed it, but apparently not. I read the test in the Bathroom and squeeled! So with fingers crossed we cross this line~

NO WAY!! ME TOO!! I got a + OPK this morning!!! I ran into the kitchen and told my DH and said for him to get ready to BD A LOT! I just couldn't believe it, I had to turn my monitor back on about 30 minutes later just to make sure!!

I'm so glad you did to! I just hope I can go for the rest of the cycle without spotting or AF showing her ugly face! Fingers crossed for both of us!!
