Hi Jennifer, have you had an intrauterine ultrasound performed? If not, that would be important to have. You may have a uterine fibroid or it could be nothing. I had what they thought was a uterine fibroid but turned out to be a pocket of endo cells within my uterine wall. I haven't heard specifically of what you have but good luck and hopefully you'll have some answers soon.

I know the OP is kind of old, but I'll reply in case anyone comes across this.
An arcuate uterus is generally nothing to worry about. Yes, it does mean there's a little dip at the top, but it's considered a variation of normal. I would still have a 3D ultrasound performed, though, just to verify that diagnosis. HSGs are terrible for diagnosing the type of uterine anomaly. They're just good about telling if there's one at all. |

Thank you ladies for replying, I had kinda given up this post for lost! When I go back to my doctor next month or the month after, I think I'll ask about the 3D ultrasound. That sounds fairly benign compared to the HSG which was really uncomfortable! Thanks again!
