I'm having a hard time coping with this infertility. I've been ttc for 2 yrs. I've been told I must use an egg donor at this point, and am so sad about it. Is anyone else going through this? Or have words of wisdom? I'd appreciate it.
I'm a counselor, so I know how important it is to cope in healthy ways. It's just been hard without other women around who know what I'm going through. Do any of you?

I am so sorry for what you have been through. we just passed the 3 year mark. Getting close to moving on ourselves because we are getting tired.

I have a few friends who have done donor egg and have never looked back. they are SO happy they did it ( though it seems normal to be sad and struggle with the idea because they did that too). I personally cannot relate because I would be perfectly happy adopting children, its my DH who wants the DNA connection.

In the 'Infertility Treatments' heading of this website there is a thread for donor egg... i would think if you checked that out you would find alot of people who are feeling the same wat you are.....

I know I'm late to this thread, but I feel like I'm going crazy myself. Especially as I am becoming depressed from the stress of all this, and it seems that the girls at work pop out babies like it was nothing.

Dido, I work in family medicine. We've been trying for just over 3 years now. 1st MC Jan 2009 - no one was pregnant for the prior 2 years I worked there. But since our MC, there have been about 10 pregnancies, and two ladies have had their second babies.

I hear you! Everyone in my life - family, friends, and coworkers - are all pregnant or very new parents. What's worse is they complain how much work the babies are or getting no sleep. Plus my job involves me working with abused children which just makes me sick. It makes me so mad!

BUT, I like to think that we'll appreciate it more and won't get frustrated when our babies are crying all night long like they do
