For years doctors would not give me a diagnosis and now I had this test and feel as if I was slapped in my face. I am doing alot of reading how dhea 50 mg one aday could help with month month of taking. I am looking for any help to turn this result back. I have also read a chinese infertility book and it says that we can change it and how our body is like the tides it can come and go. I wish there was an ivf that would put me in a trial or help me since my insurance doesnot cover ivf. I am 42 and time is running out! Any info email me mitchy1121@aol.com

Two weeks ago, after my first failed IVF, I visited my old RE and asked him to test my FSH level and AMH. My FSH was average, but my AMH was terrible. Finally, a reason! I had a consult with a new RE yesterday and he mentioned my AMH, I almost fell off my chair when he said it was lower than the test I had taken two weeks ago. To make a long story short, those tests were from the RE who did the IVF. I never knew he tested for either one of those and he never shared results with me. The test clearly stated that my AMH was below average. I am so angry, the test was from ’09, had he said something I would have started IVF ASAP. Clearly I am not unexplained, there is an explanation, low ovarian reserve. My WTF is in two weeks.

Anyway, what protocol is your RE using? Did you use any herbs? Traditional Chinese Medicine? Organic foods? No birth control prior to stims? Metformin? Anything? Please help!

I was devastated after diagnosis. Don't give up! Trust Ur instincts & get other opinions. I was treated like crap by 1st doc after diagonals. It took me weeks to gather up courage to call 2nd doc. But I couldn't give up that easy.

I just wanted to tell all Dor women that it is possible!
