Hi ladies I'm new to this board. I had my TL (tubal ligation) 11 years ago when I was 22. Since I have matured and grown into womanhood I have regretted that decision. Is there anyone else that feels the same way?

Hi Jessica, Welcome. I'm sorry that you are now having regrets about earlier decisions. Just keep in mind you are not out of the game. Do you still ovulate on your own? If so IVF is for you! I had a TL for infertility reasons and IVF is going to be our only option in getting prego. Don't think you are alone, many others on here are not able to use thier tubes and have gone through or are going through IVF. Have you ever considered it or talked to a doctor about it. Again, welcome and ask as many questions as you'd like. We are all here to help! Have a great weekend!

Just keep your head up everything will work out. We are on the same bus. I tied my tubes a couple years back and now we are going to try IVF. Good luck and keep in touch.

There are doctors who perform reversals and some studies show that they have a higher success rate than IVF if everything else is OK. My best friend is an RN who has worked for a doctor in North Carolina named Gary Berger for over 10 years. His web-site is Tubal Ligation Reversal by Dr. Berger

I had one at 25 after my third child for the usual reasons money... health.. major regret. Im now expecting my fourth child through IVF we also had some other issues that have cropped in the years between and tubal reversal was not an option for that and several other reasons that did not work well for us.
