Hello Im new to the community,
My husband and I have been trying for over 3 years with help. I had my first IUI 12 days ago. I took injectables and hcg shot. I was supposed to test for pregnancy on saturday but this morning I woke up and I am bleeding and have cramps seems like a period. I have pcos and never get my period regularly.My last was only 24 days ago. Is this my period or something else. I feel devistated. I really thought it worked ive had majorly swollen and tender breasts the last 3 days . this is not common for me. I thought it was a sign that it worked. Could i be miscarring ? it seems way to early for a period. I have done injectables many times before and never had these symtoms. this is the first cycle that i had enough viable follicles so it was the first iui and hcg shot. im really confused my dr had me take a blood test to see if im pregnant but i have to wait 24 hours to get the results and 48 before he will see me. Anyone have any suggestions. Im devistated and confused.........

I’m sorry to hear you are going through this. It could be implantation bleeding. I hope you get good news from your beta.

hey u will get pregnant... i got pregnant after IUI... IUI did not work out.... i got pregnant naturally after 1 time unsuccessfull IUI... mail me if u need any help... at

hey jenellensteve same with me.i am 12days past iui.i started bleeding today.today i took the pregnancy blood test.waiting for the result.

With my last two failed IUIs, the same thing happened to me. I got my period two days prior to my scheduled pregnancy blood test, despite being on progesterone (which sometimes delays periods).

It sounds like the progesterone was rearing it's ugly head. It can mimic pregnancy symptoms, especially the sore breasts and bloating.
