Venting
Sorry Ladies,
Just wanted to vent..I am soooooo aggrivated right now I could scream!!! First the nurse screws up and didnt tell me the right days to stop the bcp's so now I had to wait another three days..going over the medication they didnt order the right amount- (its going to cost another 1,400 dollars from what we thought!!!!) Another question..can anyone tell me when they started their prometrium (progesterone)?? (was it after your IVF?) I forgot to ask and of course if I don't ask they don't tell me anything...lord help me get through this day!!!!!!! Oh yeah and then I asked her when I start all this other medication..she said something about when my levels get up to 500 I think she said, "but I better ask after my blood tests so I don't fall through the cracks" FALL THROUGH THE CRACKS?????? IM PAYING ABOUT 15,000 FOR THIS AND IM GOING TO FALL THROUGH THE CRACKS????????????????????????? Counting to ten slowlllllllllllllllllllllyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

AHHHH! I don't blame you! I would've already asked them what their problem is! Good luck on your cycle and with your RE's office!

 Stephanie 27 DH 27 TTC-actively 3 years, not-not trying (hehe) 5 years before that. HSG-10/05 normal. LAP-10/05 endo (Stage III or IV), fibroids & polyps in uterus, and a cyst on left ovary-all removed. Pacemaker-08/06 LAP/Hysteroscopy-03/08 endo removed, tubes flushed, D & C. No fibroids, polyps, or cysts!

That is why I switched RE's because the first office were totally stupid and for all the money we pay they should treat us delicate and give us step by step instructions, i can feel your fustration, but hold on you are getting closer and you need to stay calm to succeed!

For 15k they should be calling your house every day and checking on you, not the other way around
Seriously, it was so hard for me to just keep track of the pill schedules, I can't imagine what an ivf is like, I feel for you having to keep up with it all, hope it gets better soon-good luck to you!

Oh wow! This is unbelievable. Is this a new nurse because she doesn't seem to have a clue! I can't imagine being that incompetent. I agree that for $15K, you should be getting gold pills, for pete's sake! Also, how can they have screwed up such a major thing like $1,400??? Um, hello. Does that nurse have any functioning brain cells???

Wow, sorry that happened to you. I know EXACTLY what you mean about them not telling you anything without you asking! I ask constantly and they tell me one thing at a time and very vaguely at that. It is so frustrating!
 That was a big part of why I joined this site. I can honestly say that I have learned more here in this forum about IVF than the tidbits from my RE and nurse( she doesn't explain my bloodwork or results and never has two seconds to spare). Last time I went in I wrote down every question and followed them around. Yes, I became quite the harper, but there was no other way to get my questions answered. I agree for 15,000+ we should not have to be begging for answers, unfortunately it seems to be a customer service problem in a lot of clinics. My clinic is very understaffed. The best thing to do is self educate, be persistent with your RE and ask these IVF veterans!

ttc-7+ me-32 DH-31 iuix4 + hcg+clomid clomid 3xs/natural male factor one ovary 11/06, ivf first cycle , menopur, 8 eggs, 7 mature, 4 embies, 3 day transfer  2 snowbabies, going to do another fresh cycle before a FET ivf #2 , follistim +menopur 21 eggs, 16 mature, 10 embies made it 5 day transfer on 6/1 of 2 embies, one was already hatching beta- 6/15, so incredibly far awayhpt 6/10 +! I am sooooo excited  still waiting on beta to confirm

I agree the drs. should be waiting on us and at our beck and call for the money we pay them. I went for 2 consultations where all they wanted was my $$$. i finally found a dr. that seem to care and takes the time to answer my questions, although everyone on this forum seem to answer them just as well and in less technical terms. (plus you guys answer questions after hours)

what cracks me up is that the nurse was trying to blame the drug company..until I asked her straight out..What exactly did you guys order because I won't go through them again if I have to???
Karen- this nurse has been working for the director for 15 years!!! Scary huh?? I do think that they are understaffed as well, but should that be our problem?? Tracey- that is funny, I can almost picture you following them around with paper and a pen..(I on the other hand found my RE's email online so I hound them all with email- God help them once I am a hormonal mess..hahahaha) Well lets hope this is our last try for all of us with a positive outcome and this will be a distant memory someday!

My nurse was 10 Times worse, it was an awful cycle b/c of her. I left them after my IVF failed...and wrote note to the DR. about his AWFUL nurse.
How long were you suppose to be on the BCPs for?
