Sarah that is GREAT!!! I am so excited!!! I am in Illinois so we probably are a day apart. No matter though! You are definitely a new friend of mine. I hope all went well and goes well whether you guys concieve on your own or with the IUI. I ovulated last week so the wait is on. Wouldn't it be wonderful if we both got pregnant this time!! Remember, relax and don't think about it and it will happen. When you get your IUI done, do they tilt you back so your hips are raised to help with the flow? My dr. says they are supposed to do that. Just a little tip. I don't know if you have celebrated New Years yet but regardless, Happy New Year!!!!!!! This is our year to reach our goal!!! Talk to you soon!!!

Thanks Regina ! Wow, That will be really exciting if we both get BFP's! . My ObGyn has a chair that tilts right back so she tilts it back to do the IUI then tilts it back further afterwards (I always feel like I'm gonna fall off! It's funny!) and leaves me there for around 10 minutes. Today is the 1st January for us, we stayed home for NYE. Very exciting! Lol! What have you got planned?

Hi Sara, We stayed home for NYE also. No need to go out and mingle with a lot of drunks!! Ha, Ha!! Especially since neither myself or my DH drink. We spent a nice, quiet evening at home with our favorite snacks, some good music, a little tv and our two cats. I'm glad to hear that you get tilted. My dr. always says to do that when ttc. I want to ask if you have ever heard of it being a bad thing to have an o during ttc? I thought that I heard that somewhere and I know that for a normal pregnancy it is okay but not for all. Do you think that having one during love sessions will cause a miscarriage early in pregnancy if you don't know that you are preg.? It's probably only a myth but I'm not sure. I at least want to keep something that makes it not always seem like we are just trying to make a baby. But then the few times that I have allowed myself to do so, I always regret it and start to think that I shouldnt have. That maybe if by some chance I am pregnant, it will cause a miscarriage because of the mucles contracting. What do you think? Good luck with your IUI!! I'm praying for you!!

I'm pretty sure that having an orgasm doesn't hurt but however, (not trying to scare you!), I did read once about a lady who went through years of IF treatment only to fall pregnant after having sex then going on a holiday without her DH. Apparently, (I think this was just her saying it, not the Doctors), she couldn't get pregnant because she was having sex.This is the only thing I've ever heard about sex or orgasms being dangerous but I think it was just a coincidence. I still make Glen be careful just incase but I always O, it's supposed to help the sperm travel. I didn't end up having my IUI today, I'm triggering in about 1 1/2 hrs and having it Friday morning. It was pretty frustrating because I organised for the day off and Glen organised to go in late and then we both had to change it. To top it off, the 2nd follie didn't keep growing so we're back to just 1 . It all seems so insignificant now but I was in tears as I left the ObGyn . Just a bad day but I keep telling myself that it'll all be worth it in the end! I'm glad you had a nice new years eve! I know what you mean about the drunks!

I'm so sorry to hear that you were postponed!!! That's always a pain when your all set with a schedule and it changes. YUCK!! I'm also sad to hear that you only have one follicle to work with now but remember that it only takes one. Keep the faith and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. We will keep trying until our goal is reached no matter what. I will definitely be here to listen or if you need a good cry and encouragement. Lord knows I have done alot of crying!!! I know your upset, but try to stay positive and don't count it out this month until you know there is no chance ( AF). Try, try again and keep the faith friend. It's all we have sometimes! Thanks, I needed that! I had IUI this morning and I think it went well, I'm cramping a bit but that's normal. DH count was really good (35mil post wash) and motility was up by 15% but they are still abnormal (94%). I was really worried but the Gyn was really happy, she said that that's fine because there are more normal ones than last time and they're getting faster and healthier. So I guess the menevit is working but I'm still worried. It never stops! lol! The ObGyn said to me after we were done that I will have a baby this year and she also said that 2008 is a lucky number in china and that it's the year of the rat which is also a lucky year! She also said to me to remember my friend Ni, and that that will be me very soon. I met Ni at her office, she has all the same problems as me and we were on the same cycles with the same drugs, last month we had our IUI's a few days apart and she fell pregnant. I felt better once she said that, she seemed so positive! I hope she's right. I will definately cheer you up when you need it!!!

Great Sara!!!!! I'm so glad that your feeling better. Positivity is such a great thing!!! Great news that your gyne was please also. My fingers, toes and everything else are crossed for you. I think you will conceive this year too. Good things always come to those who wait and by the sounds of it 'It's your turn" Now comes the wait unfortunately. I swear thats the worst thing in the world. I hate waiting and waiting. Hopefully it will be worth the wait this time though. I have a good feeling about this. Stay positive. I will keep you posted this week w/me. I'm playing the wait game. I've had a little cramping but nothing too serious or abnormal. I'm trying not to think about it and not take any little thing as a symptom. You know how that goes!! Ha, Ha. I will either be totally ecstatic or crying by the weekend so I'm going to need you. Wow, your wait's almost over! I've got everything crossed for the both of us! How exciting will it be if we do both get preggo!!! I hope we'll be crying tears of joy by the weekend! Are you going to test before you expect AF to arrive? I always do because at least that way I'm expecting her, I think I'd loose it big time if she just showed up before I knew for sure! Good luck! I want to test before my AF is supposed to come but I always get too nervous and wait it out. I'm supposed to get in on thursday or friday so I'll just keep myself occupied with work all week. I always try not to think about it so if AF shows her ugly head, I'm okay you know. Oh well, we will soon see. Your right though, it would be fantastic if we both got prego at the same time!!! Hi Sara, Just thought I'd give a little update. Today is day 28 for me ( I usually get AF 26-29, latest was 31 on Clomid thought). Nothing yet. Still praying. Having a lot of cramping though, not the usual premenstrual cramping but almost a really gassy feeling. Like gas bubbles floating around. Not sure what that is but I'm ready for whatever comes. I also feel very bloated and my back hurts but I always get like that before AF. I'm trying to wait till the weekend to take an HPT. Sometimes I feel like AF is not coming and sometimes I do. Oh well, nothing left to do but keep waiting!!! So far so good. I will keep you posted!!! How are you doing? You feeling okay? Positive thinking. LOL!!! I missed you this week because I've been working so hard to keep my mind off things!! Hope all Is well!!

Hi, I missed you! I really hope the cramping is from an impending BFP! I've heard so many people say that the month they got their BFP was the month that they were 100% sure that they weren't pregnant because all the symptoms of AF were there with a vengence so I'm holding high hopes for you! I feel completely normal now which is a bit of a bummer cause I was hoping to be crippled over with implantation pain by now! I'm 8 days past IUI and I'm busting to poas to see if the trigger's out yet even though I know it wont be. The only thing that I've had different this month is that I think I had a mild case of OHSS a few days after the trigger but it didn't last and apparently if you're pregnant it doesn't go away so I really don't know what to think. I'm so crazy in the 2nd week of the 2ww! I think I need to stop in at the loony bin! lol! Good luck and I'll keep you posted!

HI Sara, all I can say is Boo Hoo!! AF reared its ugly head yesterday!! I have to go through the wait some more now. I guess I kind of felt like I wasn't preg. though, so I wasn't exactly surprised. Back to drawing board!!! I totally understand how you feel. The wait is impossible to deal with and you look at every little feeling you have (or think you have) as a sign or symptom. Remember I'm still praying for you!! I still have that feeling that this is our year!!! We WILL get BFP this year!! We just have to be patient (even though we have no choice) and calm and keep trying. My DH is wonderful and very supportive and it seems like yours is too. Plus we have each other for support!! Don't count yourself out this month just yet. You can't say no until AF. If she comes, that's okay, just try, try again. Success is coming . We are going to start accupunture next week to try and relax a little more. I have also been doing yoga and noticed a change. I started taking Prenatal vitamins at my Dr's suggestion and it's been about a year. I have to say that I have noticed a change with those also. My cycles are predictable now as before they were all over the place. So hopefully this means my body is regulating and becoing somewhat normal!! I hope the same for you. You should try some yoga. I think you would love it!! Anyway, It's another try for me next cycle. I hope that this is it for you though. If not I'm sure this is just the beginning of a successful year for you. I am here to listen. Hopefully it will be GREAT news for you!! Keep your head up and your wits about you. This is not the end!! Hugs and kisses

Oh no! I'm so sorry, I was really praying that this was your month. sending you a big hug . I agree with you, 2008 is our year and we will both get our BFP's! I'm glad you're looking after yourself and doing Yoga and accupuncture. I hope it helps a lot. I used to go horse riding and do tae kwon do but I had to stop while TTC cause they're both big no no's but as soon as I get my baby in my arms, I'll be starting again. Just remember one of my favourite quotes: For everyone who recieved a BFP this month, they had a BFN last month. I'm praying that next month will be your BFP. Stay strong and remember that I'm here if you need to talk.
