Oh My Gosh Sara!!! That is WONDERFUL news!!! I am so happy for you!!! I told this was going to be your year!!! I'm not worried because I know this is my year too!! I am so excited for you!! Okay, so how does it feel??? I want to know everything. How did you take the news? Did you totally faint or something?? Ha, Ha!!! I knew the prayers would work. Keep in touch okay!!!

I had absolutely no symptoms, I was 100% sure that Af was on her way and I only took a test because I wanted to just stop thinking about it.
I poas Monday morning (my time), it came up a really faint positive (only 10dp iui). I got sort of excited and sat down to read the box when I noticed that they were out of date by 3 months! (I'd only bought them the day before).
I tried to call the company to see how reliable they would still be but they were closed so I called my mum and told her what was going on. She called the local chemist to ask for their advice and he said that if it wasn't working properly, it shouldn't show up anything. Mum called the company again because they were open by then and the only person there was the secretary who had no clue at all.
I ended up going in to work and asked to leave early to get a blood test. My boss let me out just on time to make it to the doctors and get the test done so that I could've had the results that afternoon. I just went to the closest doctor to work and explained to him the situation.
He flat out refused to give me the blood test because he said it was too early. I tried to reason with him by saying that if it was showing up on a stick, then it's not to early for a blood test. He still refused and said that basically it's a waste of time.
I left there and drove the 20mins to my doc. He gave me the test straight away but because of the stuff around with everything else, it was 1.30 before I got the test done so I had to wait till the next day for the results.
Well after an anxious night and still a faint positive the next morning, I had to wait till 1pm that day to call. When 1pm finally came around, I called and she put me through to a nurse instead of my doc. The nurse couldn't find my results so said that she'd call me back after she checks in his office. 30mins later she still hadn't called even though I told her that I was on my lunch break. I called back again. Apparently the lab program was mucking up or something so they couldn't get the results.
I let my mum know what was happening and she said, Bull***t (she was very excited and anxious!), and called the lab. they said that if my doc rings, they can tell him over the phone. She called the doc office back and told them how it was. 5 minutes later my doctor was on the phone calling me (he had no idea about the stuff around). He told me that it is a Finally!!! I immediately called DH and told him, he was really happy. Then I called my mum and she was over the moon.
I actually didn't cry while speaking to either of them, it was when I got off the phone that it hit me. I tried to keep a straight face and not bawl as I walked out to tell my boss and best friend but all I could manage to do was cry and nod my head! lol! I felt so silly!
I didn't get a chance to tell many people, as soon as I got off the phone from my DH and my mum, literally within 3 minutes I was getting flooded with texts and phone calls from my whole family. Everyone had been waiting a long time for this and were really excited, it was so sweet!
After I told my boss and Best friend, she ran into all the rooms (I work in childcare) crying and telling the staff so they all took turns to come and hug me and then she told every parent that walked in the door to collect their child. It was really funny, I think if it's possible, she was more excited than me! I couldn't stop laughing. It was so funny!
I turned up to work yesterday and she had put an announcement on the radio to congratulate me and one of my other friend gave me some baby cups as a present!
I really thought that I would know for sure when I fell pregnant but I honestly have no symptoms at all. I'm still pretty scared because I really feel like AF is here now with the cramps and I'm due for her either tomorrow or the next day so I don't think I'll feel ok until she doesn't show. Wonderful is all I can say!!! I am so excited for you I feel like I am the one who's pregnant! I am so surprised that you didn't cry or faint right away. I probably would. Lol. I hope that you continue to share every moment with me. I want to know every detail. It makes me feel better. I know I will also still need your support. You've been such a good friend and shoulder to cry on for me. I actually told my husband that you were pregnant and started crying. He told me not to worry, that he was sure that you would still talk to me and support me. I hope so. I want to be able to share my good news with you when it happens. You deserve it. You've been trying for a long time now. I knew it was going to happen. I've been trying for 1 1/2 years so I've got a while before I catch up to you!! I am thrilled and will continue to pray for a healthy babY. I'm so surprised that you don't have any symptoms. Wow, you just never know. Oh no! I was so worried that I'd make you cry and I did! I'm sorry! I hope you are feeling better! Of course I will still keep talking to you, you've been great support for me too and I will be here all the way with you! You will be joining me soon so we can both cry together cause we're happy for once! I'd definately suggest IUI's. They don't hurt at all, I just felt uncomfortable while she was opening the speculum (same as a pap smear) but after that it's over in a minute. It actually feels pretty weird but definately doesn't hurt. The worst I had was a bit of mild cramping afterwards but nothing like serious AF cramps. The other worst part is forking out the money but I would pay anything to have a baby so I don't really think about it, it's just become a regular part of my budget now. Take care! xoxoxo

I'm so glad that you will continue to stay in touch with me ! Please don't think that I was upset because you were pregnant!! I am thrilled!! I was just worried that you wouldn't talk to me anymore. I guess I got so used to sharing with you that I figured once you got pregnant you wouldn't post anymore. I'm glad you will still be here though. Is everything still okay with you? Are you feeling okay? I have an appointment on Tuesday to see where we are going to go from here so wish me luck!! I think that my Dr. will probably increase my dose of clomid to 150 mg and then go further but I'm ready now. I understand that you have to go through a process though. I have patience. I'm definitely NOT going to take the estradoil again though. Forget it!! Anyway, I hope you and your DH are having a great weekend. I'm sure you are with lots of family and friends spreading the great news. I will let you know how everything goes next week!! Lets pray for healthy baby for you and a BFP soon for me!! I'll be praying hard that everything goes perfectly at your appointment and that you get a BFP next cycle, then you don't have to worry about any more RE appointments! I remember wanting to stop clomid and do the next step but my Gyn said that we had to take it one step at a time. I'm normally a patient person but it was sooooo frustrating because I knew that it wouldn't work. I was so glad when she agreed to start IUI's with injectables (even though I'm terrified of needles!). I hope yours will be willing to do the next step with you asap! I'm going well today, the cramping seems to have settled down finally. I have my follow up Beta tomorrow morning so I'm praying really hard that everything will be fine. I think I got my first pregnancy symptom today, my bb's started hurting! I keep thinking about all that time I spent stressing and looking for symptoms during my 2ww's and now I know that I don't get any. I'm 5 weeks today and only just got first sign almost a week after confirmed Blood test! I wish I knew that before I started, it would have saved a lot of analising! lol! Isn't it so funny how we wait and wait looking for symptoms and thinking everything we experience could mean that we are pregnant? Come to find out you didn't even have any until now! lol That's so funny and ironic. I'm glad that you are feeling well and I know that everything will go just fine at your appointment. Now you can relax and have a healthy pregnancy. Just enjoy every minute of it. I know that I have to do everything by the book and not rush things with the RE but I'm sure that you understand the anxiety. We want it now!! lol I'm praying that my DH and I have success this cycle but if not that's okay. We will keep trying until we are successful! I know it will happen!! If I did get a BFP I'd probably faint anyway!! lol I actually feel really good about things right now. I haven't been feeling sorry for myself like I usually do. That's a plus!! I should ovulate this upcoming week so I'm trying to get over this cold I have so we can DTD . I don't care if I have to crawl, I'm not going to let anything stop me from trying. I look forward to hearing how your appointment goes. I'm am sure all is well but I will pray for you anyway. I will let you know how my visit to the RE goes also. I plan on asking to go straight to IUI so we will see what she says. I think she will want to go one step at a time though. It doesn't hurt to ask. I'm glad you have a couple of days off. Hi! I just got my 2nd beta results back... Drum roll..... 140!!! I'm so happy! I asked what my first beta was and he said 3! I've never heard of a beta that low so now I'm glad I didn't know, I'm just suprised that the poas even picked it up! I asked him if that's ok and he said yes, I went in early for b/w (11dp IUI) so I would've only just implanted and that's why it was so low. He said anything over 2 is pregnant and it's not important how low as long as it rises at a good rate and he said mine was excelent. I'm so excited, YAY!!! I'm so glad that you are staying positive, I know how hard that can be sometimes but just keep telling yourself that this is your year and it will happen soon! I laughed when you said about crawling! I can just imagine it! lol! I hope you get over your cold fast! Good luck with DTD! I'll be praying hard that it works! I really hope that your doc is on the same page as you with the IUI's, the chances are meant to be heaps better. (but you wont need it cause this is you're month!). Good luck!!! xoxoxo

Hey Sara!! Sorry it has taken so long for me to get back to you. I've been really busy at work, working alot of hours and at night, well you know!! lol! I am so glad that everything looks good for you!! I already knew that thought!! My cold is just now getting better but we suffered through it. My poor DH!! I'm so glad he loves me!! My Dr. did just what I thought and gave me another 2 cycles of clomid. But she said we can look at doing IUI if this doesn't work!!! I'm really excited, but you know what? I know that it is going to happen with or without it. This is our year!! Now I hope I can keep the positivity if my AF show this month!! Ha, Ha, I may need your help. Well, I hope all is still well with you and your DH and I hope you are feeling good. I have heard some real horror stories about morning sickness.
