Hi,

I am still new to the infertility medical treatments and charting. I had an HSG two weeks ago, tested positive for ovulation on an OPK and had sex the day after the procedure and agin two days later. Both during my fertile period. I am now having cramps, a runny nose and severe backache but don't know if these could be signs of pregnancy or PMS. My period is due in seven days and I am scared to take a pregnancy test.

Any advice? I can't stop analyzing every minute symptom I feel.

Hi, I can relate with you. I get like that where every symptom feels like it might be something. Not sure if you're on any medications to assist with your IF? If you are on clomid, this can cause the side effects you are describing. If you are not on any medications, the only thing I can say is to wait closer to your expected AF date to test. It's hard not to look at every 'symptom' and think it's a pregnancy symptom, isn't it? I can tell you that I've thought I was pg on more than one occasion b/c of symptoms and ended up not being pregnant. And i've been pg twice and ended up having no symptoms. The one thing I did have when i was pg that you are experiencing was a cold, BUT it wasn't until about 6 weeks along (about 2 weeks after my pg test.) I had this w/ both my dd and my ds.
