So AF stilll came after hsg this month. There goes the idea that it was my tubes. My doc recommended getting some blood work done. I know a lot of you have had this done. What do they test and what are they looking for?

From what i have been reading I think they intially test your hormone levels? I am sure people who have had it done can tell you more. I am thinking about asking my doctor to do a broader test than just progesterone to see if there are any other issues also. There are so many little things that can be wrong...its a wonder they can help as many people as they do.

You had said in your first thread that you hadn't been ovulating. Do you know why? One of my bff is seeing a specialist for the sencond time (it took her 20mo with her first). She is not ovulating, they think due to low estrogen. She has dry hair, skin, no cm, and no sex drive. I don't understand any of this. I am a post open heart ICU nurse not a repoductive nurse. I know the basic endrocrine system, but that is it.
