New to the forum/board
Hello! This is my first time ever at joining a forum, so I really am a complete newbie! I thought it about time I found some others to share my thoughts and ups and downs with, to give my poor husband a break!
My story so far.......I've been diagnosed with secondary infertility, due to anovulation. We've been ttc since our DD was 1. (conceived naturally, no problems) She's now 2. I never got my period after pregnancy/birth. Since then I've done 3 rounds of clomid 50mg, no O. And the last 2 months I've been on Fermara. Follicles there but small, last US (cd14) showed lots of little guys, and 4+ at around 11mm, same as they were cd 10. Doctor mentioned going onto injectables next....but I don't really know what that means...any info would be greatly appreciated! Just looking for some support from any one else who is in a similar place. Thanks!

 Mum!! You will find a lot of support and information here!! I'm not an expert about injectibles. I used them for one cycle of IUI several yeard ago. The ideas is to stimulate the ovaries to produce more eggs. There are many protocols. I'm sure someone with more experience will answer this post. ! I don't know anything about IJ, but lots of women here do. Did they not consider giving you a higher dose of clomid? Good luck to you!

My OBGYN had me on clomid, but I didn't get any follow up treatment....they didn't look at my follies or anything. I only know it didn't work as each month I had to take provera to get a period. She then referred me to a specialist who put me on Fermara. It's not really used for infertility, it's actually a post breast cancer drug, but it's supposed to do a similar thing to clomid, but w/o the side effects. Two rounds of that haven't worked, and I feel a little weird about taking it anyway, considering it's not really a fertility drug. I'm thinking about getting a second opinion from another doctor, or maybe seeing if I should try a higher dose of clomid. I heard that if you don't respond at a low dose, increasing the dose doesn't help much. Is that true?

I'm sorry that I don't know alot about injections but I didn't want to say welcome. If you don't get any answers here then try the general infertility forum (the one with the most treads) Most of us post and respond on both. Best of luck to you.

Hello I am using some inject. meds but I am doing IVF for the first time so I really don't know how much help I can be other then to say
