Looking for a cycle buddy
I've never posted on this thread, but I've been a regular on the Infertility Treatment boards. My dh and I have been taking a IF treatment break since November 07 - We had planned on doing one more IUI and moving onto IVF this year, but my dh ended up with a detached retina (from diabetes) in the beginning of January and that has pushed the IF treatment way back on the list of priorities for now. We are still trying on our own though.
So with that said: The real reason I'm posting this thread is to look for a cycle buddy. I'm on CD 2 today and usually ovulate between CD's 14-16. Thanks

Ohhhh.. Count me in! I'm CD 1 today. I also don't ovulate on my own, but with meds I should be ovulating around CD14!!! Let's do it ladies! Big

Im on cycle day 5. I get a trigger shot on the 9th if follies are big enough.

Hey ladies!! I'm on day 3 and glad we're all on the same page here!! I'm supposed to start my 3rd round of clomid on Friday, but haven't heard back from the dr. yet as to what we should do differently this month. I am hoping to go in for an HSG this month and go from there. It's great to talk to people who are going through the same thing.

 Stacy! Are you going to up your dose of Clomid this month? For some reason all 3 months I was on Clomid my Ob/Gyn never increased the dose. I think having and HSG done if it works out is a good thing. I just finally had the nerve to ask my cousin who went through IF treatments to get pregnant exactly what they did. Apparently they'd done some treatments, etc, and then got pregnant with no meds the month of her HSG. She was one of those lucky ones!! Maybe you will be too!! How is everyone staying sane? I feel like I'm about to take this big jump here by starting treatments again. I need to find a project or something!

I've stayed on 50mg of clomid every month so far. There is no need to up the dose because I'm definitely ovulating every month....just not getting pregnant.
I talked to the Dr. today and he's scheduled my HSG for Monday morning....he told me to take 800mg of Ibuprofrin for pain....might take the whole bottle just to be sure!!! Just kidding!!! So tomorrow I start my third round of clomid, not looking forward to it, but hopefully it will be my last!

Do you have some pretty bad side effects from Clomid? It made me so emotional! I was crying during every commercial on tv! I didn't really have the hot flashes though. Probably some mood swings too.
Yeah for your HSG being scheduled. Monday will be here before you know it. I haven't had one of those yet... (don't really know why), so I can't offer any advice. I hope it goes smoothly, and you'll have to let me know how it goes! I start my meds on Saturday, and I'm anxious to get started again!

I guess I don't have "bad" side effects from it. I get moody, hot flashes, sometimes trouble falling asleep and very vivid dreams. But I also take Premarin, which I think really contributes to all the craziness. I'm not looking forward to it, not because of the side effects, but because I am so snappy with my husband, and I don't see that I am doing it. It's quite a bit of a strain with us when I'm such a crab all the time.

Just checking up on all you girls, see how your cycles are going! Mine was a miss so I'll be starting my next cycle in a little over a week but hopefully someone here can share some good news soon!
