New to forum, need support

Hi everyone, I've been lurking on this forum on and off for a little while. You all seem so supportive of one another. My DH and I have a beautiful 3 year old DD. It took us 1 yr and 2 months and third try on clomid to get pregnant with her. We have been trying for 2 years now to get pregnant with our second child. We have done 5 IUI's and been on clomid and letrozole. I've also been using a ferility monitor which tells me I'm ovulating every month. We had to take a break for a couple of months due to large ovarian cyst caused by Clomid. Had to have surgery. The doctor tells me I'm perfectly healthy and my uterus and everything looks great.

I've been doing fairy well emotionally through all this even had a couple of friends that had babies recently but wasn't too depressed. Well, last week 2 of my friends got several of us together and announced they are both pregnant and due within days of each other(this will be their second). Both of them apparently have bad endometriosis and they talk about how hard it's been for them. They've only been trying for 6 months. Anyways, myself and another friend that was there are having difficulties getting pregnant and the other friend even miscarried about a month ago(after a frozen IVF cycle). I just feel it was a little insensitive the way it was done. I am definately happy for them but can't help feel so sad. This is the worst I've felt and it's hard for me to be around them.

Sorry for such a long post. I just needed to vent. Nobody understands what I'm going through. My DH tries. We're going to do a few more cycles on Letrozole and off we go to the RE.

Anyways, any suggestions on supplements or any advice would be appreciated. Thanks for letting me vent.

It is often rude and insensitive of others if they know you are having difficulities with getting preg. Most people mistake fertility if you've already had a first child. That is so in our case so no one gets the reason that 7 yrs later I have an only child. I was always supportive of finding out others around me were preg but in the last yr or so hearing BFP of others would get me all teary. I also had a Clomid baby 7 yrs ago so I wouldn't wait a long time continuing Clomid. Just my thoughts. I thought IUI would work and after 3 failed IUIs went to IVF. I was convinced my first IVF would work and was devastated when it didn't. I've had a child before so what's the problem. Now 3 IUIs and 3 IVFs and lots of $$ later we got our BFP but it took 3 yrs and multiple treatments/surgery etc... I wish you luck. The women here are amazing.
