Hello Everyone,

I am sorry that I just dropped off of the forum. I just wasn't in the mood for some things. I just wanted to give an update and to thank everyone who lent thoughts and support. I appreciate all of you and this forum very much.

My DW and I have been divorced for almost 3 months now. Things are at times difficult, especially when I think back upon what or how I could of been different with the IF situation. Basically I paid $40,000 to get away from someone who I didn't want to get away from at all and now come home to an empty house.

Things that IF taught me, COMMUNICATE, COMMUNICATE, COMMUNICATE! Stay on the same page with each other about IF. Never lose focus of the reasons that brought the both of you together. Have goals as a couple and continue to have fun.

So, thank you all again and again. I wish you all the best of luck with IF and in life.

I wish you the best of luck..You are absolutely right communication, respect, honesty and loyalty is the key to all good relationships.
So, take what you learned and dont ever forget it.
You never know, you could always one day get back together.

I'm so sorry that things didn't work out for you and I truly hope that there are bright things ahead for you.

Thank you for your message. I think it's a great wake up call for all of us. I have really withdrawn from my DH lately and although he remains SO supportive I can understand that he will eventually tire of this unless I let him in. We are going through this journey as a couple and you are so right about the need to communicate. Thank you so much for being a big enough person to let us learn from your situation.

Be kind to yourself. You are a good person. You have changed and any woman would be very lucky to have the man that you have become.
