First of all I would like to say I admire many of you on here as I read through a lot of the site before hand.

Let me introduce myself, I'm Neillian and I am in my 3rd year of studying Anthropology and Divinity at Aberdeen University. With this I have decided to do my research project on 'assisted contraception and reproduction.'

What I am including in this term are;

medication treatments
IVF and IVF expansions
Surrogacy
Sperm and egg donation
Reproduction Surgery
Cryopreservation

Basically what I am looking for is your stories, they can be about one cycle to your whole fertility life story. You can speak about your reasoning about why you have chosen this path, events, things you do at parts of your cycles, peer reactions, ideas of parenthood, links to your choice and your religion, whatever you want really.

From this I am going to analyse and interpret your stories for my research journal. I am going to be studying your stories in relation to rituals, rites of passage, kinship, body, self, commodity, economy as well as other factors to see differences, similarities, trends or differentials.


If I refer to you within my final research essay I will refer to you and your stories through you user names.
