Hello everyone! I am Kendra Gathers, a student at Rutgers University, and I am writing to you in reply to your ad placed on Surrogacy.com. As a student in the course Women’s Leadership: Knowledge & Power, my coursework has led me to explore a variety of fields that concern women. As a result, I have recently been given an assignment where my task is to choose a topic and to find a woman who embodies, or is closely related to, the topic of my choice.

The subject I chose to write about was infertility and alternative solutions, one that has interested me for a very long time. I am requesting an opportunity to meet with you to get your insight and personal experience on the topic. If you agree the interview will be an audio-recorded interview and completely anonymous if you so choose to have your identity hidden.

I am asking that you seriously consider participating in this completely confidential interview. Although it will be very beneficial to me, it will also be an opportunity for you to speak out with a voice that often goes unheard. I am especially interested in your views regarding egg donation and any opinions you may have on surrogacy. Any further insights you have would also be greatly appreciated.
