work?

I am an antepartum nurse at a major woman's hospital. A large portion of my patients are women who have conceived with ART. I love my job but have been crazy with all the time I have had to take off. I will be moving to nights in about a month-- should make FET or IVF transfers a little easier.

DH is the Director of Theatre at the local college. He is amazing at it, too. A true talent.

It has really been interesting to learn about everyone! Thanks for the thread!!

I am a Registered Nurse. My previous job I worked at Childrens Hosp of Pittsburgh as a pediatric transplant nurse. Got burned out....now I am a transplant case manager for a national insurance company.

DH is a surgery resident for University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. It's a 7 year program...only 2 more to go! Then he'll be on to a fellowship....UGH!!! He'll be 40 before he even starts his career!

I'm glad Chrissy brought this thread back! It's neat to see what some of you do for a living...

I wear a few hats - the first of which is a high school math teacher, the second of which is a business manager at a local country club, and last is a bookkeeper for a local estate owner.

My DH is a warranty administrator for a local GM dealership, an independent mechanical inspector for extended automobile warranty companies, and a federal firearms dealer.

How interesting this is! And, I'm addicted to HGTV too! House Hunters, Design to Sell, Hidden Potential, etc...

I'm an IT administrator for a large pediatric practice in Princeton, New Jersey. My husband is a pharmaceutical sales manager for Bristol-Myers Squibb. We both went to Penn State (and majored in Advertising, which neither of us do now!), which is where we met!
I love finding out this stuff about everyone, what a great idea!

Ummm....I really should be working right now!!! I'm a Physician Billing IT Analyst/Administrator for a 900 doc health system in central Pennsylvania. I also do some consulting on the side because knowledgeable reps for this system are hard to come by. (...helped to pay for IVF!)

My DH is currently a GM of a known restaurant and on his way to becoming a DO. Not sure how that will work out if we end up BFP! ...crazy hours and all.

I went back to college after a 10 year break and finally got my degree in Accounting in Dec 2005. Since Jan 2006 I have been working as an accoutant for a pretty large accounting firm. Right now I am gearing up for a busy tax season, which should make the whole IVF process so much more fun.

DH is a Land Aquisition Manager for a national home builder.
