Great to hear what you all do!
I'm a physician/scientist (see patients and do reasearch)--These days with all the recurrent M/C stuff I've been going through I torture myself way too much with what I know, especially since I'm a geneticist, having PGD with IVF--YIKE!!
But trying to let go and let the Drs take care of me. They know alot better than I do!
My DP works for New York State Govt in Economic Development, does alot of disaster relief grant work (for 9/11, recent flooding of upstate NY) and help for minority and women owned business.

I am a science professor at a small private university. It's good and bad, because I tend to think too much about what's going on, instead of just being a patient. DH owns a landscape company.

I am a certified public accountant and I use to work in public accounting specializing in non-profit clients. When I felt my job was stressing me too much, I left to go to one of my clients. I am now the Chief Financial Officer for the Girl Scouts in my area. I love it and it is a ton less stress!

My DH is a Maryland State Trooper. He loves his job too.

Well - let's see here - I worked in the travel industry (airlines & travel agency) before having kids - quit to stay at home with them and then had to pick up something part time after 9/11 - so I have been waiting tables part time (not enjoying it, but it helps and is easy to juggle with DH's schedule). Dh is an airline pilot - and things are getting better - in fact I will be putting my two weeks notice in next month!

How did I miss this thread for so many months?!?!

Everyone's jobs are so interesting. Right now I am a full-time student and not much else. I am in line for a position at the Wabash Valley Correctional Facility (WVCF) as a substance abuse counselor. In the past I have been a supervisor for a residential living company that worked with people with disabilities, mostly mental disabilities, to be able to live at home.

Dh is the Safety Coordinator and Supervisor at the WVCF. His office is literally 1 minute from our driveway.

I missed this tread also!! lol

This is fun.
I own and operate an infant and toddler day care center.I love my job! I spend my days singing silly songs and doing craft projects.
Right now is hard for me because one of my babies is very ill and not expected to live long.... She is in my care 10 hours a day and I love her. It may just be one of the hardest things I have ever dealt with. She could use your prayers girls.

I also am a photographer. I shoot weddings, portraits etc. I prefer to shoot animals and the great outdoors but the others pay the bills better.

My wonderful husband is a NYS licensed explosive technician. That's right he blows stuff up for a living! lol
