How long have you been TTC?
I have been trying to conceive for over 5 years. I know this has been very frustrating for me. I have been reading several signatures, but I thought it would be a good idea to ask the question in a thread. So, let me know how long have you been trying to conceive?

ME: 27  DX: PCOS, insulin resistance, polyps DH: 32 DX: Perfect TCC: 5t Yrs  2002-2007: Started seeing OB for help with conceiving. Very irratic cycles, Clomid 3 cycles, & Metform 500 MG, no luck 6/07: Referred myself to a RE specialist  6/07: RE found Polyp(ultrasound) at 1st visit, metform 1500MG 7/07: HSG, clear and saline test, polyp shown 8/10: D & C, and hysteroscopy  10/07-  11/07- 12/07- , decided to take a break

I have been married for 7yrs and never used BC always wanted children. So I would say I have been infertile for at least 6yrs, but just got up the nerve to see an RE.

We've been trying to conceive since December 27, 2002, a little over six months after we got married. This was the day I stopped taking my birth control pills. Yes, I have it down to the day. So it was 4 1/2 years by the time we conceived, it'll be five years next month.

Almost 8 years total.

 Stephanie 26 DH 26 TTC-actively 3 years, not-not trying (hehe) 5 years before that. HSG-10/05 normal. LAP-10/05 endo (Stage III or IV), fibroids & polyps in uterus, and a cyst on left ovary-all removed. Pacemaker-08/06 LAP/Hysteroscopy-03/08 endo removed, tubes flushed, D & C. No fibroids, polyps, or cysts!
Not thinking, talking, or doing anything related to babies. Dh wants a baby-break. 09/08 Started taking Bee Pollen, Royal Jelly, and Propolis-just for fun. www.myspace.com/stephaniehorst http://stephaniehorst.blogspot.com/

Stephanie, I see that you had an HSG that was fine and then they found lots of things through Lap. Were they able to remove the scarring and endometriosis? Was it blocking your tubes at all? Just curious as I have a lap coming up.

Hello,
I have been trying to conceive on and off for about 5years, went to RE in 2002-2003 had every possible test done , even surgery to remove a small cyst. I am currently on clomid so far so good no side effects just a little cramping thats all. I am only 26 and cannot afford any infertility treatment soo I am hopping for the best. I will be prego someday and you will too!Oh I sent you a message to add me to you myspace blvsolis ok so that we can talk.

Unofficially 6 years, since my DS was just a babe. (wanted my babies close together)
Officially for 3 1/2 years. (Guess they won't be close)

 Me - 35 DH - 38 DS - 6 (conceived naturally) 2004 - BiLateral Ovarian Cystectomy - 4 cycles of BBT & Clomid . HSG2005 - Year off DH deployed 2006 - Laparatomy & HSG, 8 cycles of clomid 2007 - 6 rounds of Clomid, Hysteroscopy, Cysts, IUI w/injectables 2008 - New Year New Hope  January - Baseline 1/23 (Insurance issues, reschedule) February - Baseline 2/14 (Cyst - BCP)  March - Baseline 03/06 (Insurance issues again, appt cancelled) April - Baseline 4/15 - healty ovaries. Clomid/injections/IUI #2 coming soon (week of 28th)... May 14 - June - Clomid/injections/IUI #3 (June 10th)... June 24 - Waiting for

 DH: 29 Beautiful daughter born 4-23-03 TTC since Feb 2005 - didn't ovulate Started treatment Aug 2006 6 rounds of clomid tubes are open bloodwork is good 3 rounds of femara/follistim/HCG 2 IUIs 6 months of acupuncture Moving on to infant domestic adoption! EVERYTHING LOOKS PERFECT!! START CLOMID TONIGHT 11/7/08~RE APPT.~I have 3 dominant follies and a bunch of small ones. I have 2 dominant on the right 13.2mm and 12mm and four small ones. On the left I have 1 dominant follie 12.3mm and 6 small ones. TTC naturally 11/06-2/07 - failed Clomid 5/07 - Injections (menopur) Cancelled (follies to small) 6/13/07 - IUI - Failed8/3 - took HPT 8/11 - AF ((she finally showed up) 9/19/07 - Chemical pregnancy -taking another month off 9/20/07 - AF 10/30/07 - She's Back!!!AF Taking a break for the holidays BUT trying Fertility Blend... 12/10/07-AF Finally showed up after a negative HPT! 1/28/08-AF - Start Menopur on 1/30 (my DH's b-day - maybe that will be lucky) 2/10-IUI #2 2/29/08 - chemicla pregnancy On a break until June....but trying au natural!
