**NEWSFLASH**
Feed Store Guy Update Ok, so I went to the feed store to pick up some booboo ointment and my weekly feed supply and he was THERE!!!! And get this, I was actually able to talk and not say something totally idiotic. I even found out his name...it's Jeremy, and he is in fact the owner's son...well, step-son. I was waiting for the owner to go see if my foal kibble had come in and he was upstairs and came down and gave me a big smile and a hello when he saw me. I was trying not to smile too much because another lady that works there was all giving us the hairy eyeball. Then she was all "I need to go upstairs, can you watch the counter", so we were actually alone for a whole 2 minutes before a customer came. He told me he was gone all last week because he was at the horse show that was in town, working for the store who provided all the bedding and food for the show and doing like some sort of booth thing there. We talked about that a bit and then I even was able to crack a joke about how he is there all the time. He says he works 7 days a week usually... it was a perfect opener for me to say something suave like "if you work so much, when will you have time to take me out?", but who am I kidding, I'm not anywhere near that smooth. I'm just pleased that I was able to actually talk to him without looking for the exit and feeling like I was going to pass out. And now I know his name! (only cuz the lady that works there called him over). And as usual, I've been floating around on cloud 9 all day because I keep thinking about him and his smiling at me. Yes. I am pathetic.

way to go on talking to him, ona!!! when you wrote about that other woman giving you the hairy eyeball,i almost peed myself laughing only because my dad gives people the hairy eyeball and i can't stand it.i really thought it was something he made up,but hearing you say that tells me that he didn't make it up.lol.i FINALLY figured out how to upload pics of my pregnancy tests for my avatar.i know, two side by side is a bit much, but you all know how obsessively i poas .and i made a new ticker, so no longer is my signature neglected![]() on a different note, the vomiting and nausea are killing me.i've read that sea bands can help, but i've been too tired to go get any,and i am exhausted all the time.my RE assured me that i'm perfectly normal though...

Hehe Teri... thanks.. I can't stop thinking about him. How childish am I?
So now that I know his name, I managed to get ahold of feed store guy's email address (it is posted on their website) so the big questions is, "Should I or Shouldn't I" write him??? As far as the nausea/vomiting goes...anything with lemon or ginger usually helps with nausea. They actually make "pregnancy pops" which are lollies with a bit of sour to them that help. Also, I find that a candy called "ginger chews" really does the trick. I get em at Trader Joes. I tried the pressure point bands and frankly they didn't do a darn thing for me when I was on chemo...and a few rubber bands around your wrist work the same way. There are a few teas that are anti-emetic as well but I confess I can't remember which ones. Oh, and LOVE the pics of the BFPs...At least the puke-fest means your baby is growing in there. YAY!!!

I have NO idea. He works at the store and our chats are maybe 5 minutes at most... not really a chance for asking if he is, and if I did it would be well, sort of obvious what I was going to ask next...I don't have that kind of coolness mojo..

Gosh, I hope it won't seem like I'm lurking, but I've been following the feed guy story... too fun!!! I agree, with Teri, you must find out if he is single! Then go for it!!! Really! bc here is the deal on making a pass... you are just creating an opening for him and if he doesn't go for it, you've lost absolutely nothing, so y not try it? You can agonize or take action. You never know, he just might be single and working sooo many days he hasn't found time to hook up with someone, ya know? Maybe it's easier to ask his stepdad if Jeremy is single?

Ona: Fantastic. I was excited to read your post, did you get the chance to check out the wedding finger.
Teri: So please you have a heartbeat, heres to an uneventful 8 months. Can I ask you if you had any symptoms in the 2ww? Well I'm 6 days into the 2ww and I'm having all the same af symptoms as last month when I didn't have treatment but you never know, I don't want to jinx myself How are the other 2wwers getting on Anyone heard from Su? Isn't she due soon?

Susan,
One of life's ultimate ironies is that the symptoms of early pregnancy can be EXACTLY like AF symptoms. So try not to read too much into any twinge or crampiness or achy boobs you might feel. Ona, I'm with you in the not-cool-enough-to-pull-off-a-pick-up-line group! But feed store guy does sound promising, especially now that you can talk to him without trying to run out of the store! My advice is to talk to him a little more each time ... smile. Clearly the two of you have shared interests, so talk about your baby horses. Maybe he'll want to come to your place to see them, and you can make a little snack (or open a bottle of wine!) and the next thing you know, it's sort of like a date! Teri, how are you? Deej, Jen, styltryin, everybody else, hope y'all had nice weekends. k.

Good morning ladies,
I had a good weekend. It included a trip north with my brother to have lunch at a pub with our parents (Father's Day and all, you know). It was lovely and warm and we sat outside on the patio - though I didn't take enough care and got a wee sunburn. Not wanting to go to work today, I can tell you that. Teri, morning sickness does not sound like fun. Hang in there. At least it's a sure sign you're !Ona, good going with feed store guy. Kathryn is right, a few more conversations and before you know it... Isn't Su a couple of weeks ahead of you, Kathryn, or am I remembering wrong? So she must be due late July/early Aug? I think last time she checked in she was feeling great, but it's been awhile... Cyst ladies, any u/s this week? OOh, look at the time. I should be on the road by now. Got to go!

Hello ladies,
There is no ring on his finger... honestly, I am more worried about him being jail bait than him being married. I like the idea of just talking more and more each time I go in, the problem is, he's working, and there are other co-workers (that one lady in particular) who seem to be surveying us every time we talk. I seriously DOUBT he'd ever ask me out under those sorts of circumstances. Nor do we have time to chat about anything for more than 5 minutes. I was actually able to talk and not be a doofus this time, yes, but that's no predictor on how I will act next time. I am VERY proud of myself though cuz here is how it went down... I came in and his step dad was at the counter. I had ordered some foal kibble so he went in the back to check if it was there and the lady who works there (we'll call her hairy eyeball lady) came up to watch the counter. A customer had a question for her and she sent him upstairs and said something like "I'm pretty sure Jeremy is up there"... and not 1 minute later (as he always seems to do when I'm in the store), he came down the stairs. When he did, hairy eyeball lady was all "Hey can you watch the counter for me for a sec" and left us alone. I don't know why but I got that feeling you get when you're out with your friends and a nice guy approaches and they all make excuses to leave so you can be alone. Anyway, he immediately said he was at the horse show last week, kinda like telling me why he wasn't there, which I thought odd because I didn't bring up him not being there all last week, but I was thinking about it. Then we started chatting about why he was there, and what he did, and boring stuff like how hot it was... and then I mentioned he sure seemed to work a lot at the store...and he said he was there 7 days a week (perfect opener that I totally blew) but at that point some customers were milling behind me so he had to go help them. Then it was silent while he was waiting for them and then we weren't able to chat anymore because hairy eyeball lady returned then his stepdad came back and said the feed wasn't there and wouldn't be there until the 19th. He was apologizing and I said, no biggie, I live 15 minutes from here. And the owner said he thought I lived far away because of my cell number, and I said "oh, no, I just used to work as a paramedic near richmond so I have an 804 cell number" and then Jeremy said "she's here every week" and smiled. And then the hairy eyeball lady rang my stuff up and I left and while I was leaving I said "see you next week". Which I thought was kinda lame... lol Anyway, I was proud of myself because I didn't totally flip out when hairy eyeball lady excused herself, which for me, is what usually would happen. But basically, I doubt we would get another alone moment like that. Which is why I was thinking email... part of me feels like that is a total cop out and not a personal enough way to tell someone you are interested...and it seems kinda stalker-like... but part of me thinks I should do it because it spares embarassing him at work and that way, if he isn't interested he can say so over email and not have to do it in person (which is harder). And if he IS interested, it'd be really hard for him to say anything at work while he has an audience. I just don't think he's going to ask me out, despite that glimmer of hope I got when he seemed to be pointing me out to his dad a few weeks back (just my guess/wishing based on his hand gestrues since I couldn't hear what they were saying). Ok, I've rambled on enough. Still no AF over here but I've had a lot of the pre-af symptoms. I figure with the full moon coming up on Wednesday, that is the latest it will show (knock wood). It better not show up any later because otherwise my CD3 would be on a weekend. Ok you TWWers, I am holding my breath all this week for you, hoping you get your . I've been obsessing about the odds of pregnancy with IUI and can't find any good data. A lot of sites say there is only an 8% chance of pregnancy with each IUI but a 25% chance of pregnancy in the first 3 IUIs and that seemed a bit low to me. But another site said that 90% of people get pregnant within 6 IUIs which is why they suggest IVF after 6 tries.*sigh* ok, better get back to work. Cheers!

hehe thanks Teri. I'm not sure what feels right at this point. I'm a coward, so I am leaning towards email, but part of me says that's a cop-out. I guess I'll wait and see and if we chat next weekend I'll decide from there. LOL I love procrastinating!
In other news, I decided in a fit of optimism to order a vial of my DS, just so I know I have it ready and waiting should I need it this month. They won't actually charge me for it until I go pickup and I can cancel it with 24 hours notice, so it's not a risky endeavour and this way I know that I have the vial in a holding pattern if I am able to give it a try this cycle. I won't have my u/s to know until CD3, which I hope will be some time this week. that CD3 doesn't end up being on a weekend and that that pesky cyst is gone gone gone! Ok, I'm running out of fingers.Cheers, Ona
