Well, I am now for May babies for all of us not yet pregnant. Sounds lovely to me!

Deej, I have heard that brown discharge is okay and not something to worry about but maybe one of the other ladies will know better than I. Get lots of rest and try to relax. I am thinking of you.

Oh crap Ona! Why wouldn't she just do the 3 day u/s just to make sure that you don't have any cysts? I mean it's just a u/s that takes lesst hen 1 minute. What was the reason she gave you for skipping this u/s? You never had your old RE sign the papers for the sperm? Ugh! Well, I will keep my that you get that paper work sent in time for you to do your ICI.

Deej, I too have back issues so I completly empathize with you. It got so bad last year that I could barley walk, so I ended up doing a series of epidural shots under general anaesthesia last year. I'm not completely painless, but at least I can move. Anyway, I sure hope that you get better soon. As far as the spotting goes, I see a lot of women on this site who have had similar situations during their 1st trimester. I wouldn't worry too much just yet as long as your betas are normal and increasing. Take it easy and try to find time to relax all by yourself. You need DeeDee time.

Deej,

I second what Jen said and I don't think you should worry. It could just be related to implantation as brown equals old blood and not indicative of a fresh bleed. I still think you should get in to see your doc and get baseline blood drawn and get a baseline u/s, if for no other reason than to give your docs something to work with in the future. Plus, I think it will give you some peace of mind.

I just had a world class wrestling match with Snapfish over an order I placed TWO WEEKS ago and just now got only to find that 70% of the prints were cropped and they'd used the wrong finish and style. Got nowhere and was ready to put my hand through the phone and strangle the "customer support" person who barely spoke english yet insisted his name was "Austin Jones". They're sending my case to tier 2 support which takes up to two days for a response. Suffice to say, I am rather annoyed and am telling everyone I know to avoid Snapfish!!!!!

WOW! Lots of chatter going on the past couple days.

Deej - It never hurts to just call and ask. Each person is different. So I guess I'm saying call.

Ona - I am so very sorry to hear about you being benched. I defiantly know how that feels.

Lilac - i am so sorry about your work issues. I can relate. I have some major ones going on myself. I did have a doctor tell me that after a major surgery our bodies can have an AF because of the stress the body was put through. So you could be right, and that could have been an AF.

Isn't it amazing how we have 2 babies coming in about 3 weeks!!!

I have lots of catching up to do. I have been sick since Friday, I don't know if it is a side effect or not, because on Friday I also started a bad sinus drip that has been nausiated (ms?) Also, when I eat a gland is swelling under my jaw. And I have been having this weird AF symptoms... (I am a walking ball of issues right now and I don't like it one bit! ) LOL

I hope all are doing well.

I have loads of reading and catching up to do.

Deej, it could be totally normal discharge, but docs would be able to find out... check hcG, and/or have an ultrasound to see what's up. I've read other ladies posts in some places about cramping, and some ladies spot/bleed all through pg. off and on. If your bloodwork so far showed consistently rising hcG, it's likely you're fine. If you haven't been using natural progesterone cream to supplement your own, you could do so, and it's very likely you'd not see any further brownish or pinkish discharge. If you are very worried, you could add some drops of False Unicorn Root to decaf tea and sip it. Plus one of the MAIN things is bedrest - stay off your feet as much as you can. Lying flat would likely help the back pain also. and remember YOU are 1st in your life! The world will not stop spinning if you take it easier ;-)

Jen - it's real tough to have to deal with an admin assistant like yours. Aren't we in a recession? Aren't there all kinds of people out there that might take her place if you get rid of her? I'm getting less and less tolerant of dealing with people like her! I'd def. be looking to change the situation some way. About the cuz' - ay yi yi - 6 weeks! I'd be a wreck anticipating the kind of pain that could lay me out for six weeks... Oh my!

Hey Ona - this is not good for your stress levels about the refusal to do the 3rd day workup - why the heck not? Maybe you know, but there are cryo banks that wouldn't require any doc signature on forms and such to do an at home ICI attempt. I'm not sure I'd brave an IUI at home, but an ICI would be easy to try. Northwest is a cryobank in the state of WA, I think they ship anyplace. If you do use them with a doc they have a different set of forms, etc. Of course, unless you buy or rent a microscope, you won't be able to see if the tiny swimmers are viable/motile, etc., so this would be the main drawback of the home type thing, I'd say. Then again, you could get a microscope ;-)

So, who all is it that are trying in August? I know I'm excited. I did kinda hate to miss trying this month, but I'm getting fit and resting lots and & hoping it could be the difference for August!

I'm pretty sure I missed some things in this reply post, so here's a to all! I need to focus back on work for a bit yet!

Ok ladie,

Speaking of work - bad day, so I'll be brief:

Ona, I think you've heard enough encouragement from everyone around to know we know what it is, we support you and are ALL cheering for that MAY baby (as to all of you soon trying it, too!!!)

Deej, I have to go with the twoo gals that said bedrest + contact your physician (or gyno - even better)

I had brownish spotting as well but at 7 weeks and immediately called my gyno. She called me in for an echo, saw the embryo was ok, but sent me home to lie down for 2 weeks. (just to be on the safe side). I had another bleeding the 9th week, 4 days before going back to work, so she did another echo but all seemed ok so I went back to work.

As much as bleeding is common, it's not NORMAL - please check with your doctor - could be nothing, could be something; after all, you didn't make all this effort to take a risk on this, right??

Oh - btw Amnio back -no trisomy detailed results later) but still don't know if it's a boy or a girl. Will keep you posted

Cheers to all,

Viv

Deej, I am glad you're going in to see the doctor. But try to keep positive. As a general rule, brown blood/discharge is okay. The embryo/blast continues to imbed in what we hope is a lush, uterine lining, which can cause you to slough off old blood. And cramping, which can include back pain, can be a sign of pregnancy. Your body starts producing hormones pretty quickly, which do all sorts of wierd things to your body.

Yay Viv! Great news on the amnio front. Keep us posted with more details.

Kuddley, hope you're feeling better.

Kathryn

Viv, great news on the amnio!

Deej, I am glad you are going in to see the doc. It may be nothing to worry about, but it's still a good idea to check.

Right, since obviously I slept way too long, I'd best be off to the commute... have great days, ladies!

Okay, so now I've arrived at work, and what am I doing? Yes, I am on here again. I am SO bad.

Ona, great job on the list! Looks like we've got a pretty good group of us for August! The positive vibes will be overwhelming. Yes!

Deej. Brown blood is old blood so I'd say theres nothing to worry about, but glad your getting it checked about.

Ona: Just love the list

Viv: great news on the amnio. Are you going to find out the sex of the baby?

KuddleyGal: Hope your feeling better soon.

The latest on me.

I didn't go for the scan, thought I'd just wait and see. I've had a bit more spotting today, still no sign of ovulation, my boobs were once sore but not no more. In all honesty I haven't a clue whats going on, needless to say my treatment has been cancelled this month but I'm not too concerned because today I ordered 7 vials (buy 6 get one free) of my european sperm as soon as its delivered to the hospital (near my house) its all systems go again. Just hope I'll fit in a month off with no meds because my body is crying out for it.

Oh by the way my donor is called Willy, couldn't help laughing.

Because I bought the sperm from Denmark I had to buy a pregnancy slot, have you ladies every heard of this before?

Kathyrn, I just wanted to tell you that I hope you have a great last day at work today. I hope that you got all of your cases taken care of. Can't believe your baby Davis' arrival is just around the corner I can't wait to see a photo of him.

Deej - How did your apt. with the OB go?

I have to say that missing this month for TTC has been killing me All I can think about every moment is getting this cycle done with so I can get back to work on making a baby, and of course each day seems like an eternity. If I weren't so old the waiting wouldn't be so bad, but I have to get pregnant by the end of the year or I don't know what I am going to do

Anywho, I hope everyone is having a nice day.
