Ok firstly, Mindi, I forgot to mention that your former bf sounds like a dream! A surfer AND a drummer...wow! And you broke up WHY??? hehe. Ok, I guess that combination doesn't lend itself to a guy who is looking to marry a girl, but he does sound romantic and dreamy. Having lived 17 years in Cali, I definitely have an appreciation for surfies.

Viv, I really do hope I get to go for it soon.

Jen, since you and Deej didn't get to have your BFPs at the same time, maybe you and I can. Maybe it is too much to ask that we both have success right out of the gate, but I can hope.

Kathryn, please keep us posted on your appt. The last few weeks of pregnancy can be rough with baby descending, pelvis softening, and all those lovely practice contractions. If it helps any, all my friends who've had kids say that when they got the real contractions they KNEW... it was like "how could I have thought those B-H contractions were real"... but SO excited it's getting closer for you.

Viv, I have to say I'm not much of a ballet person either. My first day of lessons as a child was one day too many for me!

Ona, fingers crossed that we do get our bfps together! Some people DO get lucky on the first try and you might be one of them. I am hoping that #8 is my new lucky number... gotta tell you, after a 7 month break, I am ready to GO!

I am still spotting a bit, but AF is not here yet... I think she's going to take her time!

Deej, thanks...I can't wait to hear how your appt goes tomorrow. I've got an u/s tomorrow too...but not of a baby...just of this stupid lump in my boob. We'll see how it goes. I've never had a boob u/s before so this should be interesting.

Jen, I am hoping we get to be BFP buddies and keeping a positive spirit that I'll have some beginners luck.

Viv, yes, I think that a lot of folks are ill informed about Clomid. It's good to use if you don't ovulate, but if you have happy ovulations then there's no need for it. In my case, it just messed me up and gave me this darned cyst (which I hope is gone by now).

Oh. Also tomorrow, my friend is flying in from Calif and I am super excited!!! My doctor's appt is right near the airport so I will just go hang at a friend's house until the plane arrives. I am taking tomorrow and friday off from work. FOUR DAY WEEKEND!!! YAY!!! My house is nice and clean and I even got my car detailed and it looks all shiney and new!!!

Ok, I'm off to write my shopping list for tomorrow and maybe watch a bit of Doctor Who before bed. Hehe...

Ona, The apt. with your RE sounded like it went real well. Now all you have to do is get AF again and get that 3 day u/s to get things going for first IUI. How exciting. I hope your boob u/s went well today too. Let us know the results ASAP. As far as the end of my relationship with my old surfer bf, we were young, in love and having a lot of fun together. One bad judgement call on his behalf to cheat on me one night kinda did things in. We got through it, but it just made me realize that I was young and didn't want to get married without having experienced life more. He said he'd wait for me to figure things out, but when I moved to the ski resort a 1 1/2 later, I realized that that was where I was meant to be at that time in my life. He was upset, but he understood. We stayed very close friends up until 5 years ago.

Kathry, How are you feeling today? Still having contractions? What do they feel like? Davis is telling you he's ready to meet you now instead of later

Well, still no signs of AF coming. I'll call RE's office at end of next week if PMS doesn't show. I will see if I can get an u/s to see if I have cyst. Maybe he can giv me something to induce AF so I can get back on track to ttc. I need to have a 28 day cycle next month so I can plan when to have Mark fly out

Thank you ladies! Today's appt went well. My u/s shows 6weeks and 6 days and a due date of March 13, 2009. I was nervous because of all the spotting, and the doc said it is still a wait and see situation.
Ona - how did your scan go? i hope all is well and that you are able to proceed w/ TTC!

Hello everyone!

YAY Deej!!! March is the BEST month for a birthday...ok, maybe I am biased since I am a March baby. hehe.

My appointment went really well too!!! They made me get a mammogram AND an ultrasound because the midwife had actually felt something, so that made me nervous, but both were NORMAL!!! I'm guessing it was just a lymph node that was swollen cuz I had been sick all that week.

So, I am now on the road again...like Mindi and Jen, just waiting for AF (she's not due until August 8).

Oh! And after my appointment I went by Whole Foods on my way home to grab some stuff and there was a whole rack of cameras and stuff there and while I was shopping a lady came up to me and asked me if I wanted to be on Emeril Live as an extra!! So she had me "shop" in the background while Emeril was cooking something involving garlic and parmesan cheese. So hey, if any of you watch cooking shows, keep an eye out for my fat butt on Emeril. I'll be pushing a trolley back and forth along the cheese isle...LOL!

Anyway, gotta run cuz it's time for me to drive to the airport and get my friend. YAY!!!

Dee!! Yeah.. Glad everything looked good at the U/S will be thinking about you in the weeks to come!

Ona.. It sounds like you are on track. I am happy that everything is working out for you and you are liking your new doctor.

Today is cycle day 27 i am expecting Af any day.. But I am sure its not coming. I dont think I ovulated. which will mean another round of clomid and provera. I cant do anything til september first.


Hope everything is good with everybody. Tomorrow is FRIDAY!!! YEAH I am so ready for the weekend!
