Nurse, CONGRATULATIONS!!! How exciting to log on for a Monday and to get such stellar and unexpected news.

As for me, I have nothing to add. I'm still hugely pregnant. My OB wants me to come in twice a week so they can strap me up to this monitor to make sure the baby isn't stressed. So I'll be at the OB this afternoon, at the perinatologist on Thurs., and back to the OB on Friday. I'll keep y'all posted.

I just got off the phone with dr office. He is sending me to the lab for blood work today. (Because of my job just told me to pop in anytime before 2) And that he will call me with the results later this afternoon. The nurse said if the blood work confirms I am pregnant, based on my calculations she will schedule me an appointment for the end of the week for an u/s.
So can anyone tell me .. Is pregnancy considered a pre-existing condition? I so was not planning on this. My insurance with the new job doesnt start until september.. Self pay sucks!!!

Nurse, pregnancy is usually not considered a preexisting condition but it depends on the laws in your state and what insurance companies think they can get away with. My advice is check your new plan. Usually you can find their plan breakdowns online. Also, if you had insurance before, there's usually a gap of 30-60 days allowed between coverage before they can try and say you didn't have continuous coverage. As long as you had insurance for a year before, they cannot stick you with ANY preexisting conditions.. Again, just depends on the plan and the laws in your state.

Hello ladiessorry I've been MIA,but I've been soooo busy getting ready and moving into my apartmentand my dad had shoulder surgery about 2 weeks ago.I got af on july 16 and I had an iui last mon..I know I'm bad for not sharing sooner.lol.just been soooo busy!!

Ona,I will be making it a priority to be around here more..so far I gotta say that I'm feeling pretty good..just very tired and I have had the yellow cm I had last time but I'm not getting too crazy during this 2ww.whatever happens happens.if I'm meant to be pregnant in august,great..if not then there's always sept

Nurse, check into the insurance situation. You may have a window to COBRA the insurance from your last employer if your current (or Sept.) insurance won't cover the pregnancy.

Wow, Teri, I was wondering what was new! to us both on the TWW! I've had some broken sleep due to my neighbor's, but hoping it won't affect me adversely! Hope the acupuncture I began helps this time.

Nurse, I'd guess ins. from old job should cover through. You might have to do some paperwork. Last I knew, you have 3 mos. to accept COBRA coverage from former employer's ins. to bridge you over, but it could have changed as I've not switched jobs in 8 yrs. but I think COBRA's a federal thing and should provide some protection.

Hehe! Thanks Styltryn. I know I am excited to actually be on the road. I worry though that I might be getting a bit too excited because I don't want to be devastated if the cyst is still there or if I get a BFN.

I did sort out the Rx issue today. They're processing the order so I should get it next week some time.

I also got the id consent form notarized for my number 2 donor choice so I can send that in just in case I need to go with my backup donor.

Styltryn, are you doing the accupuncture during your tww? Was this cycle unmedicated? If so, how big were your follies from just the accupuncture? I ask because I just started accunpuncture this Saturday and am excited to see how it worked for me. However, I will be doing a medicated cycle no matter what. RE wants to stick with the same protocol as the last 2 IUI's since I had a great reaction to meds. Why I didn't get pregnant is the $25,000 question.

Accupuncture was great. I left some twinges right away with the first needle, but it's the just the beginning so I have to wait and see what happens on my next u/s. The hardest part about this whole ttc at this stage in my life is wondering if I even have viable eggs. I am on the 40+ thread and it seems like every gal on there isn't having any luck with IUI's and are all moving towards IVF. And from what I read most of us gals have low FSH levels under 10. So, I guess having a low FSH level doesn't guarantee that you have nice quality eggs. Now I am even more scared and confused about my 5.2 FSH. It may not mean anything at all

Oh, how I wish there was a magic test that could tell me if I could definitely get pregnant. You'd think that the 21st century that that would be something possible.
