Yeah, I liked it too. She doesn't ask me about it often, she generally more quietly supportive, you know? But it's nice to hear she's thinking about it and hoping for me.

Hi ladies....sorry I have been MIA for a while. The dr is not letting me do IUI right now, and wants me to go to a reprod. endorinologist at UVA for further testing. I now have ANOTHER mass on the left side, hydrosalpinx or whatever. Not in the greatest of moods this wk, sorry.....but I've been meaning to get on here to check on everyone. I am so afraid that IVF is going to be my only option. Not that it is a bad one.....I am so concerned being a single social worker with no trust fund that I know of.

I am bummed because I was an egg donor, and all this stuff has happened since then. I have no regrets about what I did......just feels like no good deed goes unpunished. As soon as I can get an appt, I'll be going. My dr is sending the referrals and all the med records. I guess I'm on a break until someone tells me what my options are. I know I need to stay positive.

(Maybe tomorrow I'll be in a better mood!)

Becca!!!! Welcome back!!! So sorry to hear you are having to deal with more tests and waiting and frustrations. I hope all the tests go well and I hope to see you on here more often. If you like, I know of a fertility grant that they give once a year. It covers the cost of IVF or IUI so if you did have to go IUI this is one way to pay for it. You fill out their application and write an essay type deal about your story and why you deserve the grant and then once a year in the Spring they pick a few people to give the grant to. Let me know if you want the info.

Jen, I am assuming the lab was busy and you haven't heard back yet???? Still crossing fingers for you!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome back Becca! What a frustrating time you seem to be having... I hope you get an appointment soon and get this latest thing sorted out, or at least get some answers. I think the waiting and not knowing is the hardest part.

Well ladies, my beta was negative, so I am now waiting for AF.

And to top off the morning, I discovered that I made a horrible mistake at work yesterday. The kind that makes your stomach sink the ground, you know? I am now feverishly trying to fix it.

Thanks for the hugs, ladies! I need them today... I fixed the mistake but the new corrected version was not good news either... and this afternoon I found another mistake! This one was not my fault but now I have to fix it too... on the up side, though, I have been too stressed and busy at work to worry about the bfn!

I had cramps last night and again most of today, so hopefully hoping AF will come right quick as soon as the progesterone is out of my system. As is usual for me, I am now wanting to get going on trying again, more determined than ever... NINE is going to be my new lucky number!

If this time had worked, my due date would have been right at the end of April. That means I may still have a chance for a May baby if this next cycle works! See, this is me, remaining positive! Or trying to, anyway!

hehe Jen! Come on lucky number nine!!!! I think there are lots of positives to think on... you did well with the meds and made good follies, your body is now healthy and cooperating, and you certainly have enough experience in this process to manage any negative stresses! It's now just a roll of the dice and unfortunately, even the best odds are still only one in four... so at least you can say "it's not me! it's the dice!"... it will be your turn soon! I know it! And hey, this way we can both have May babies together.

The dr called today and I have an appt with a dr at Univ of Virginia next Friday. So I feel better knowing that things are starting to move. I am really concerned about the money thing, which I know we ALL are, but I'm going to take it one step at a time. I am curious to see what the dr finds.

Wow, some rough news today. Jen, sorry about the BFN. And Becca, I'm so sorry that you've been benched for the near future. Hopefully the UVA doctor will give you the green light.

We had an outing today to the pediatrician. Davis is healthy as can be. He has gained back most of the weight that he lost since birth. He's still a pretty good sleeper, too, which I understand is not always the case.

Well, he's asleep, so I should try to get some sleep myself. I'll check in later.
