I have been having problems with the font color too. That is why my color isn't purple anymore. I tried like all the colors like 100, but all I could get was that ugly amber color. I contated technical service about it and they never got back to me. Oh well, it is what it is.

I started my prometrium today. No major side effects except for being tired. I can handle that. I like sleeping

Okay all I havent been on lately and I apologize. But let me explain why. Some people made some comments about me takng ant- anxiety meds and they had a lot to say. I have chosen to wait til now to respond, because after reading those comments I was hurt and did not want to respond out of hurt and anger. That would not have been a pleasant post. Everyone has been tremendously supportive of me and I really appreciate the support. It has been a rough couple of weeks for me. What I dont appreciate is the remarks about the ant-anxiety meds. While I know you guys are trying to be supportive. You must understand I am not stupid. I am a RN. I went to nursing school have the diploma to prove it and I WOULD never take anything that I thought my jeopordize my chances of having a healthy child. There are many medications that are safe to take during pregnancy. I have consultated with my DR. And no to the person who "assumed" I was taking Xanex. I am not. I think I made the comment that I wanted some Xanex, but I really was joking about that. The only other meds that I am currently taking are meds prescribed to me to help induce ovulation and yes. Predisone is one of those medications believe it or not. I wont know til tommorrow if I even need to be on it. Predisone is a steriod and its most common side effect is weight gain. Well guess what I am already fat a couple of pounds more is really not going to matter. So please dont take this post the wrong way. I am not mad at anyone. I just wanted to clarify certain things!!

Teri-OMG.. YEAH on the news. I am so excited for you. Keep us posted on how everything is going and Ona is right. I think you should celebrate!!!

To those in their 2ww . It sucks I know. and to all three of you!!

As for me. I am day three of a 10 day supply of Provera. Then on cycle day 5 I will be starting clomid.
FYI Generic Clomid is realatively cheap at walmart!

Nurse, I won't speak for the others, but I kind of assumed that if you chose to take anti-anxiety meds it was because you needed them, and moreover I assumed that you and your doctor had chosen a drug that would be safe for you during pregnancy. The ttc is very stressful and I have heard of a number of women who have needed such a drug (and of course you've had some pretty stressful events in the rest of your life too!). I know next to nothing about them but I do know there are choices safe for pregnancy and I'm sure you've chosen one of them. You are, after all, an intelligent adult, right?

I like to think we are all supportive here but I'm sure that we won't always agree. I'm sure I've made choices during my journey that are right for me but that some of the ladies might not agree with. I figure that's okay, as long as they're right for me. I value the opinions of everyone here, but I make my own choices.

Do whatever you feel you need to do for you and your future child. There's no right or wrong way. Just my take on it.

We are here for you.

Nursegirl: I am sorry, I AM one of the ladies that made a comment about medicines. It was not directed at anybody in particular but more of a post about what I had read on other threads about medicines... If you ever wrote that you were taking Xanex, I did not see it. Never did I know what you were thinking of taking and/or taking... My xanex comment was only in response to the post after yours recommending that you take Xanex... I apologize if what I said was hurtful. I am not a nurse and have no idea about many things and learn on these threads. The issue of meds has come up often and ladies have posted links to studies done on meds; therefore I shared what I had learned about meds like zoloft vs. xanex... I KNOW you are a nurse and have the knowledge and by no means meant my post to imply you had no clue about meds or would put a pregnancy in danger... I feel awful! There are many times I will read a post in response to something I wrote, and it makes me say "ouch" so I understand where you are coming from. UGH and sorry if I caused you even a moment of discomfort!

Nurse, I also gave a response to your meds statement but I didn't mean to say anything offensive. If I did, then I am sorry. I actually mentioned that I was "pretty sure your doc knew what he was doing" but that it can't hurt to be vigilant and do what feels right for you. That wasn't just meant for you, I was just making a general statement to the thread. We all are sometimes faced with tough decisions and not many of us have a health science background to fall back on but that doesn't mean we can't all be informed participants in our care. Mine was meant to be a pepp talk, not any kind of a put down.

ANyway lasses, I've been having bad tummy cramps and my left side has been hurting. I'm well past my time for Oing so I HOPE this means my cyst is deciding to rupture. AF is still a few days away.

Had my u/s and my baby has a heartbeata healthy 102 bpm which my RE said is perfect for where I am,which is 6 weeks,3 daysladies,I am officially happy!!!!!!!!!!!

Nurse, I'm sorry that anything anyone said offended you. I know this group, and I'm confident that any hurt was unintentional. But having been through almost 3 years of TTC before finally getting pregnant, I firmly believe that we are our own best health advocates. And I, personally, appreciate it when someone calls a medical issue to my attention to either read about or discuss with my medical provider. So I hope -- as far as I'm concerned -- that none of you moderate what you say regarding medical choices in fear of hurting my feelings. Having said that, I reserve the right to disagree with any of your suggestions! For example, I know from our discussion that some of you are opposed to epidurals and that you have valid medical reasons. But I still think that's the route I'm taking!
