First of all celexa is an anti-depressent, not an anti-anxiety med. You said it was a shock to find out I needed something as I gave no indication. Obviously you dont read my posts. As for why I might be on it. NO ONE but you has every asked me why. I wasnt going to state out in the open who it was that hurt my feelings by one of their posts because I didnt feel it was a nice thing to do, but now since I am ticked I will. IT was you. I feel as thought you are personal attacking me and my judgement. I didnt come on here seeking your judgement. Telling me all the drugs I am taking are bad for me and that i "must be on ttc break". all the meds i am taking right now except for the anti-anxiety meds are to help me conceive. I was really hoping you would have realized it was you who hurt my feelings and apologized, but no you come and give me another lecture?

This is a support thread! We are all here to support each other!!

I do not want to see this escalate into a drama. Remember, we have THREE ladies on their TWWs and stress is not good for those little embies trying to implant.

So, let's just group hug and let bygones be bygones and move on to better topics like hot feed store guys and TWW twinges. Let's celebrate that Kathryn's little guy is almost here and Teri is officially sprogged!!!!

We need to keep the positive vibes going for those who are anxiously sensing every twinge and boob sensation while they wait to POAS and we need to keep the spirits up for those of us who are still on the bench.

Well Nurse, You certainly have shown that you are an angry person with your comments to me. I never attacked you, however you have attacked me. You truly have issues and being on anti-depressants is a good thing for you as you are being quite rude to me and that is a sign of someone with issue. I don't care who you are now, no one should ever say such mean things on this forum. I knew you were implying that I was the one who ticked you off. That is why I replied back to your comment about feeling liked being attacke. NOT once did I say that you were an idiot of some sort to go on al those meds. I said I was CONCERNED. However, with your imparied judgement you didn't see it that way. And yes, Celexa is an anti-anxitey medication. As a nurse you should know that. If you don't then go online and do your research. I have never suffered from depression, however I developed anxiety in '01 and Celexa helped curb that. Of course I read you posts. Duh! If I didn't I wouldn't have commented about all those meds. I know you were fired from your job. Remember, I was the one who was supporting you with having been ther myself and I offered you my kind support. Now all you can do is bash on me for being concerned about you ttc while being on all those meds. Shame on you. There was no need to apologize for you feeling hurt. You are the one who needs to look back and read all of our posts and realize that they were nothing but supportive and that you are sorry for getting on our cases for our support. However, I can see from your personality that you are not one to do such a thing. I have nothing further to say to you. I have been on this forum since January and I will not be leaving. You may consider leaving this fourm if you are going to be so rude to us here. We have been a nice an loving group here and have never had anyone tell anyone off. I am done with you. I don't like negative people and there is no need to give you anymore comments.

Nurse,I have to comment on your post regarding Mindi. I have been talking to her since January and I have had many personal conversations with her,including many conversations about some personal problems I was having (which I will not elaborate on because they are very personal) and she has always been caring,honest,and truthful with me. I can tell you that she was speaking to you out of concern and care,not "lecturing" you. She has been nothing but a positive influence in my life. The things you said to her were very rude and uncalled for. On this forum,we are all single and we have no dh or bf to talk to or share our concerns with,we have each other and no, we don't always share the same opinions on things but we don't attack each other either. Mindi did not attack you,she simply expressed her concern over the medications you yourself said you needed.Mindi owes you no apology for expressing her concern and care for you and your unborn child to be. And Mindi is in her 2ww,she does not need the stress of thoughtless,rude comments.

Ladies, I had a fabulous day. I felt good, I looked good, my boss didn't bother me, it was gorgeous and sunny, I got cleared for the surgery, and Teri's news was fantastic.

I can only say that I will be struggling to hang on to my mood tonight now. I came home from work only to find that there has been some activity on here since last I checked.

This method of communication is difficult. It is hard to convey inflection, tone, and of course, intention. It is natural that we may be misunderstood or our intentions misconstrued. Furthermore, we are from all over, so I think it possible regional ways of speaking may creep in as well.

This is, above all, a place for support and understanding. I hope that if we have disagreements, they can be resolved privately, or at least resolved calmly. We all have strong opinions. We're all strong women. I hope to see the tone here soon go back to the supportive and embracing one I have come to know.

YAY JEN!!!!!! Just two more weeks!

Ok, so ladies I have a dilemma...

As you know, I very much had picked a donor. I even joined the DS registry... well, I've heard from two ladies who are thinking about using the same donor. One of them also mentioned another donor which happened to be the only other donor I had considered. Anyway, long story short, she sent me his childhood photo and it was COMPLETELY adorable! And now I am wondering if maybe I should consider using this other donor.

I can't remember why I chose my donor over this one but I think it was because of eye colour and age at time of donation (I was able to find out he was born in 1986 and that kinda weirded me out). Both donors have their pluses and minuses. One is a true redhead while the other is auburn haired. One has green eyes, one brown. Neither has any major health problems but one has allergies to pollen and the other has an astigmatism. One has a family history of strokes in all but one of their grandparents. One has a family history of diabetes in just one grandparent but since the donor is considerably younger (just based on observations) his grandparents are my mother's age. Anyway, things kinda even out and both donors are a good option. The new one, however, is not a doctorate donor so his vials are $100 cheaper!

Anyway, I am COMPLETELY torn. For now, I am going to fill out the ID consent form for the other donor just so I can send it in and have the option of getting vials if I want them. But now I am SOOooo conflicted!

I was thinking of posting his pic on the yahoo forum if you ladies want to help me decide...

Ona, they both sound pretty good... hard to decide. I will of course be off to the yahoo group at any moment to see if you've posted a photo there. Remember, you don't have to stick to one donor, either. You can try one, and if you don't get a bfp, try the other!

He's a cutie, Ona! So the real question is, brown eyes or green? Straight hair or curly? If any of these things are important to you, well that could help you decide. To me, they both look great and I would tend to go with my gut when I called to order...

What about personalities? Do you know anything about these two on that score?

Thanks ladies! I sent the photos and profiles to my friend (who is going to be the god mommy) and asked her to "pick one"

I think they are pretty even in terms of personalities. One is a bit more athletic while the other a bit more academic, but they are also different ages. They both seem pretty laid back, which is good, but it's hard to tell anything about personality from a bunch of words on a form.

I think I will take your advice and "use both"..but not at the same time...hehe.

I will go ahead and use my original donor for this first try and then if I don't get preggo, I'll try donor #2 the next cycle.
