Need advise
Hi ladies,
I truly hope that this is ok to ask here, but I am at a total loss as to what to do. My sister in law and her husband have been TTC for years now. They have gone through just about every procedure in the book. (Both she and her DH have been diagnosed with different infertility issues) She is very sensitive about talking about this subject, but my MIL keeps everyone informed. They are scheduled for their final procedure in February. She said if it doesn't work this time, they are giving up. My DH (her younger brother) and I just found out we are pregnant with our second child. (Her sister also has 2 little ones) I am wondering what the most sensitive way to go about telling her is. We have not told anyone in my DH's family yet. I am concerned about timing of course - I don't know if we should tell them before their procedure or after. I don't want to put any more pressure on them by telling them before, but if God forbid, they don't conceive this time - would it be worse to tell them after? And how to tell them? I welcome any advise on the best way to handle this. Thank you so much! Sue |
