only in my head?
I'm at a loss. Can anyone help? I have PCOS and present all the symptoms but one. I have endometriosis. Over the past three years, I've started getting migraines. Recently, I've been breaking out in hives on a daily basis. My husband told me tonight that I'm a hypochondriac. He said it seems like there is always something wrong with me. I don't complain half as much as I could about any of it. I rarely (if ever) talk about the embarrassing PCOS symptoms, my ovarian pain has decreased significantly since my surgery last September, and I still go to work and clean my house and attend gatherings when I'm dealing with a migraine. I think the itchy hives bother him more than they bother me. Did he call me that because he thinks I'm fabricating all of it? Or is he just sick of having a wife who doesn't have perfect health? Can anyone relate?

Sweetie, hives are a physical symptom, not a 'in your head' thing. Is it possible that you are having an allergic reaction to something? Have you ever had allergy testing done? And migraines can be debilitating. This is not in your head. I would go to your Dr. and have him check you out. For migraines, used to suffer from them pretty bad, but I started going to a chiropractor and I stopped having them. I highly recommend trying a chiropractor. I was a non-believer and went just because, why the hell not? What did I have to lose? But now I am a believer and migraine free.
I hope you and your DH can talk this out. You need to find out why he doesn't believe your symptoms. ![]()

Thank you both for your support. We talked last night, but I ended up feeling worse rather than better. He said he's just frustrated and he took his frustrations out on me. I apologized profusely for not giving him what he needs - a baby mostly. He told me that my ailments are inconvenient. No sh*t. I haven't chosen IF issues. I haven't chosen pain. I told him that i'd go if he wanted to find someone else who could give him a child. He hesitated and asked me if that's what I wanted. I want a family - a healthy family. I want him to understand, rather than just be inconvenienced by me. ug.

Snap!!
Hiya
This is weird - when I was 14 I randmly broke out in hives one day, over the years it got a lot worse, to the point where I was admitted to hospital and tried every tablet going to try and stop my skin boiling up 3-4 times per week. Now aged 27 I have it under control and only get a breakout about once of twice a week. I was also diagnosed as a PCO sufferer about 3 years ago and had never tied the two together - maybe there is some link?? I am sure my husband thinks I like to wake up clawing at my skin which feels like it is on fire at 3am just so I can annoy him. He lost patience with my hives a lot of years ago. Have you had your hives looked at? It may be that you suffer with Urticaria. Good luck!
