hypothyroid and failed IVF
Was pregnant for 2 weeks and then the bad blood test came in. Super sad but now trying to figure it out.
My GP has been treating my hypothyroid. She tested me just before IVF-FET started and my TSH was over 7. She recommended that I go ahead with IVF. RE didn't give me any recommendation otherwise. Does this seem weird to anyone? Now that I've done a little research, this number seems way too high and someone should have said so. I'm going to find an endo and try to get the levels under control - any advice? I am of course very eager to get started on another cycle but don't want to be irresponsible about it. thx, Helen |

A level of 7 is way too high. You want your TSH to be between 1.0-2.0 when ttc. It's not a good idea to proceed with ttc until your thyroid is controlled. Good luck to you.
