Hey girls just had a quick question, may sound stupid. But after my third miscarriage and increasing symptoms of lack of energy, tired all the time, mild weight gain, cold ect....I proded by RE to test my thyriod ( hypo runs on my mom's side of the family). Anyways I yearly have my TSH checked and it has always been normal. But they had never done a full thyroid panel, when he did it this time he discovered my Free T4 was low but my TSH was still normal. He thinks this could be the reason for my miscarriages since your thryoid demands are increased with PG. Does anyone out there have similar problems of a low T4 but normal TSH? Any luck? I just can't stand nother miscarriage and hope being on synthroid will help my chances...when I try again

What was the level your doctor considered "normal"? Many labs will report a tsh up to 5.5 as "normal", but many people think that for ttc your tsh should be 2.0 or below. If your doctor is not willing to treat you to that level, find one who does.
