Hi all! I will tell you a bit about me...
I'm 25, Dh is 26. We loss our little girl at 18 weeks in August due to placenta abrupation. We are now ttc 3 months after our loss. I have irregular cycles for like EVER. And I don't o every month. SOoo trying to get clomid from doc. I researched it and I feel I should tell my doc I'm ready to try again and ask him for clomid. Sorry this is so brief but not much news yet. O yea I haven't had af since my loss. And I should see my doc in a few weeks to discuss all of this.

I am sorry for your loss. We lost our little boy at 23 weeks in April due to a clotting disorder. I definetely think that if you feel you are ready to try again you should make an appointment to talk to your Dr. Good luck with everything.

We are in the same boat here... I lost my daughter at 27 weeks in July due to PROM. (prerupture of membranes) a total fluke the docs say- I thought I pee'd the bed because it wasn't major but come to find out my water had broken. I was in the hospital for almost a month trying to retain what fluid was left and unfortunately it didn't happen. She was gorgeous! I got married last year and it only took us 3 months to conceive- NOW, WOW. I wasn't ovulating and I did just come off my 1st round of Clomid 50mg. I DID OVULATE! My prog blood work came back at a 20.9, the prior month it was a lousy 6. So MAJOR improvement. Now, I'm in my 2ww.
The side effects were wicked headaches and mood swings although they weren't too bad. Listen to your doc and baby dust to you and all the strong gals in here!

Hi Byrd Im new 2, had a miscarriage 2 months ago, I have always had regular periods. Don't know what happened. Dr said Im fine to carry- put me on vitamins I have been taking for 2 months now (prenatal, B6, Folic Acid, B12) we tried again this month for the 1st time. I used a ovulation calendar I downloaded and went according to temperature and days etc. Needless to say we did it like rabbits so much that by the last 2 yesterday hubby gave out 2 times and just couldnt (you know ). Im ok, we been doing it several times a day all week. We did have good success on the main day and the others as well. We did it morning and night- couple days was daytime do to increase in temperature. Yesterday was my last day of ovulation. Today I have lower left cramps sharp and some dull, and sensitive boobs still, hope that goes away i it is still due form ovulation (they were real sore the last 3 days) not sure what that means. ! I do know I dont want to jump the gun. I haven mentioned it to hubby I dont want him to excited either. It is just 1 day since, but we could have struck gold a week ago and now here 6 days later the magic is starting. Im trusting God in this of course. I just know I pray I dont have another MC, I know the vitamins are hopefullt going to prevent that. I hope it all works out for you- I cant wait to hear that you have a little Angel on the way- God Bless

I have also lost my baby boy at 17 week 6 days on 13th April 2009 due to water break like you. It was my first pregnancy after 2 yr TTC. I have also the irregular period and ovulation problem. This pregnancy was most awaited to us but we lost our all hopes. I believe , God is kind and will give us anotheh gift, so I decided to try again after 2/3 months. Please pray for us. What is your present status? Hope you are carrying and will soon gifted by god with a cute baby.

hi byrd, i'm also new. i lost my girl at 20w due to ptl - placental infection/abruption. it was less than 3 months ago and i've only had 1 AF. we are talking about trying again, going to see a specialist in a couple of weeks, and researching better care providers than the one i had.

we were going to wait until after her due date to try or think about trying, but in the end we decide to get as much info as we can now about my risk factors and about how another pregnancy would be managed differently. i think having all the info is a good thing and talking with your doc can help you know what to expect the next time around. and you always have the choice to seek out an alternate doc if you feel this one isn't giving you what you need.
