+ opk! yay!

So, after my OB said that we could "try" for a few months without meds but he doubted I would ovulate on my own I felt discouraged. But I have been using my fertility monitor and got the + for lh surge today. Hooray! I am just thankful that my body is back on track right now. Despite what happens this month I was just hoping to O on my own. We have been like crazy this week. It feels good to be back in our "normal" routine. Even though this is a new kind of normal. I am trying hard to not worry too much right now about all the possible outcomes. One day at a time right now. Besides, someone told me "worrying is like rocking in a rocking chair, it gives you something to do but you do not go anywhere". Knowing that and actually applying it are two different things but it makes me smile to imagine myself on that rocking chair, madly going back and forth when I start getting worked up. Hope everyone is is holding up ok. to all!

Hey Lisa, that's great!! I think that's a great sign that you ovulated if the kit is showing a surge! Those things can be pretty touchy. Well, have fun bding this weekend. Can't wait until I can again. Six weeks is going to seem like an eternity.

After a break from all the bd'ing I forgot how much work it can be! We were lucky that this timed out just right since DH is now gone out of town for 2 weeks. I am slightly more emotional than usual for a 2ww. But that is probably normal right? Going through it solo right now does not help. I seem to switch from feeling cautiously guarded and certain that nothing this month will come from our efforts to feeling hopefully optimistic and praying that we are blessed again so soon. I knew we were getting back on the fertility roller coaster when trying again but honestly this ride sucks!

Daisy,
6 weeks must feel like forever right now. I know that I am one of those people that if you tell me I can't, I want it so much more. Hang in there!

Thanks Samantha! I do have to admit though, this 2ww is a bit more intense then those in the past. I am doing my best to just focus on each day and not get carried away with worrying about all the potential outcomes. Easier said then done but I know I am glad we started trying again.

I know I haven't been posting over here, but after I read your post Bullywrinkles I just connected with you.... I too am in my 2WW, did you do IVF, or IUI, I'll go back and see, but I'm there with you BETA will be next week, and I feel EXACTLY how you said you felt above. It's so hard! I feel so normal, and no signs or symptoms, I know it's too early, but I wish I felt SOME THING! Thinking about you!
I'll check back!

Dre!

So good to have you back! Arrrrgg! This 2ww is awful right?! I feel like I am a new kind of obsessed with my body and pregnancy symptoms. So, before they cart me off to the looney bin I am doing everything I can to stay distracted. But, as always I end up here on the message boards or reading some pregnancy book and pondering every twinge I feel "down there" Oh well. We will get throught this.

This cycle was "au natural" for us. That was why I was so shacked I O'ed on my own. I concieved my ectopic on a natural cycle and the most recent m/c was after taking clomid. So, the OB told us to try a few cycles on our own and see what happens. If no success, back on the clomid. I do not miss those headaches and hot flashes so I am really we get lucky!

How are you holding up?

Hi girls!
Bully, your post made me LOL (which I totally needed tonight) because I try to stay away from the forums because then I just obsess over EXACTLY WHAT YOU SAID! I couldn't have said it better.... Every twinge and all of that is exactly what I try and feel too.... It's so darn hard. Then I know even if we do end up with a we'll be so scared for our US..... It's just never ending.... I know it's worth it, but boy am I scared to death! I try and stay positive, but then I think, this didn't work.... We have spend so much money trying to build our family and it's so frustrating....
I sure wish God would have made more symptoms this early on!

Southhampton ~ It's so good to connect with you again, how are you holding up and what are you thinking about doing as far as your journey?

I'm not too much of a upper tonight....

I'm on a ride right now and there are so many ups and downs just in one day..... I'm sure it's the pogest......
I'm glad you guys are here!

Hi ladies! How are you doing?

So, confession time. I bought like 20 pregnancy tests over the weekend. Some "cheapies" from the dollar store, some regular, some digital. It is like "if you buy them, it will come" The all important ! Oh boy! I think I need help! I have been trying so hard to keep distracted and not be all consumed with all things fertility. But much like a junkie needs a fix I need my books, google and this forum. I will poas next monday 2/9 if AF does not show up. Goodness knows I have enough tests, right!

I hope I am not alone in my madness but that you all are faring well.

Lisa- you are too funny. I am a POAS addict. My DH always thinks I am nuts but the neighborhood drug stores love me . 1 week down only 1ww left

Dre - I feel exactly the same way. SCARED to death. I don't know if it's the pill or just starting again but I have been very emotional. I have been crying again. Crying for the baby we lost. I am also surronded by women. I have found out about so many pregnancies it is wild. I hate to admit how envious I am of all the women around me that get pregnant so easily. I am in a bad place.

I hope you are feeling GREAT today

big hug!

Oh Samantha! to you!

You know what. Some days are better then others for me too. There are times when I lie in bed at night and can't think of anything BUT our angel. It is not fair and definately not how I saw our story playing out. We have had several friends recently welcome beautiful healthy babies into thier lives and it is hard to see them. Why do they get a happy ending and not us? And of course they did not struggle with IF so it just adds insult to injury. I was secretly glad DH was traveling yesterday for work so we had an excuse to miss the Superbowl party with friends. 7 couples but 4 are new parents. As much as I thought I was up for this I am not sure I really could have taken it.

I really hope today is a better day for you. And if it is not, I understand and will pray even harder that we all can summon the stregnth to get through this.

Currently I am driving myself crazy with being absolutely postiive we are pregnant one minute and then the next minute I am certain I am wrong. Roller coaster time. Dh being gone for this last week of the 2ww does not help. I am so glad you are here to talk to. You understand just how fragile we can feel some days. Hang in there!

Bully and Southhampton ~ It is hard. Both of you are also in a space where you are doing things naturally, what are your odds with that for the both of you? Our odds on a natural cycle is less than 5% so even though each month we took off after the MC I would hope and pray, I knew that it was so unlikely. We had to make the decision to do more or just STOP. So here we are again ~ IVF .

Some days are better for me as well, and others I think about how I would be due in April and not doing this cycle again... It's frustrating and hard money wise, but we are just praying every thing works out.
I'm thinking about you both...
