But oh well, just have to be patient and wait and see. But I am looking into acupuncture. I've heard nothing but great things about it. So I'm doing some research to find a doc nearby.

Lisa-Wonderful news that the bean is ok. Must've been scary when the nurse didn't find the hb right away. But a picture is worth a thousand words.

Maren-Interesting cravings...The fruit definitely good. Popcorn also good so long as it's not drenched in butter. But on the other hand it's loaded with fiber!

Heather-Nice to see you survived the heat wave. I'm sure having lots of ice cold slushies while in the pool helped. Good luck with your expo and definitely rest when need be. Thank god for your friends who can help you out.

Sam-How did it go yesterday? the follies are growing.

Jill-How did your u/s go yesterday? all is ok.

Have a busy day ahead. Have a baby shower to go to and a birthday party later on and have yet to wrap any presents. Just wanted to check in and make sure everyone is doing well and wish you a great weekend.

Hi Cindy,

Thanks for asking-I was so nervous last week I don't think I even posted! My legs were shaking like they never have before walking into the RE's office but everything went great and the little arms and legs were waving at us!! This was the first pregnancy ultrasound that DH has been able to come to and so glad it was such a special one! but sad my mom missed it b/c she would have loved it! I think they are both coming to the next one! haha

Lisa-I am also getting freaked out b/c I feel like my m/s symptoms are not as bad as before-not sure what to think of it-I think I'll wait a few days and see what happens-I was laying around a lot this weekend and I always feel better when I lay down so maybe I just had a good weekend-I'll see what this week brings.

oh and Cindy-it took for ever for my period to return after my D&C-8 weeks! I actually ovulated before I got a period after the D&C and I would also highly recommend acupuncture. I didn't do it my first cycle after the m/c and I got a BFN and the two cycles after that I got BFP's-one was a chemical but still got pregnant.

Maren-I have been craving fruits as well but also some foods that are not so good for me too! But I think you have to eat what your body wants/lets you at this time!

Samantha,
Woo Hoo! You go girl! That is fantastic news that there were so many follies! I will be wishing and everything go smoothly tomorrow! And of course for super healthy embies! Yay! I am so happy for you! and I know this month may be kinda up and down for you as your old due date approaches. Hang in there. We are here for you and I promise you will get through this.

Cindy,
Ugh! That darn AF is not cooperating huh! That is no fun. But, hopefully the acupuncture will help. How was the b-day party and shower you went to over the weekend?

Jill,
Hooray! So happy to hear your bean is growing and so active! I was wondering where you ran off to! Sounds like things are good then. I totally agree with the eat healthy but just eat what the body tolerates right now thing. I am bummerd that I am not eating nearly as healthy as I used to but this m/s will continue to decrease so I can do better soon! How are you feeling otherwise?

AFM, DH is out of town this week. But I am going to try and stay sane by catching up with girlfriends and having a girls night out. Luckily my m/s is more manageable now. I still take the meds sometimes but no so much now. Although, my trip to wal-mart was pretty brutal as I think I gagged down nearly every aisle! Now that the shopping is done I can relax and hopefully my tummy will settle.

Here's wishing you all a happy Monday!

Hey Lisa,

Glad you are feeling better. I am nauseas sometimes and tired a lot but then have trouble sleeping sometimes too. My beta is starting to come down as it should b/c it peaks around 8-12 weeks and then starts to decline-maybe that is why I am feeling a little less nauseas. I know it has to subside at some point but it's just something else to worry about and I didn't think it would happen so soon. Have your symtoms just slowly gotten better? Nothing has stopped abruptly but I just don't feel as nauseas as I did for the past few weeks...

Good Luck this morning Sam! they retrieve lots of super healthy eggs. Sending you a huge hug and lots of

Jill-wonderful to hear that your little bean was waving at you and your DH and that everything is ok. What did your DH say when he saw the u/s and the little one?

Lisa-Sorry your DH is gonna be gone all week. Was he traveling far? It's nice to hear your're able to handle the m/s a lot better. The baby shower was nice. It was for my little cousin. I say little cause I remember when she was in diapers. time flies by. The birthday party was nice too. They even had a bartender! Was able to enjoy a few cocktails. Overall, it was a really good night. Especially when the Blackhawks won.

Maren-How are you and the gang doing?

Heather-How did it go with the expo?

Thanx for the insight on your experiences with acupuncture. Have to make a few calls and hopefully by the end of this week I will be able to start my first session. Here's to a great Tuesday.

Sam - Good luck today!!!!

Jill - Your m/s decline sounds like what I have expereinced. But, I do admidt, I felt really gross yesterday and so far this morning is not lookng so good. But, as a whole the m/s has gotten better. I freaked too because I thought it was too soon but I guess everyone is different and it is not that uncommon for things to slow down before 12 weeks. As far as the other symptoms go....they are still in full effect (constipation, sore bb, peeing more frequently). One day my bb's were not so sore but that was just a one day thing. How are all the rest of your symptoms? Try not to worry. But if you find it is too hard to relax and enjoy the break from the m/s until you know for sure everything is alright maybe call your OB. I know mine said they get this a lot and are happy to have you come in and hear a hb on doppler or do u/s if too soon to hear anything on doppler. A relaxed and happy mommy is a relaxed and happy baby! Keep us posted!

Cindy - Ha Ha, I know that feeling of those "little cousins" growing up too fast! Mine just got married in October and I am like...Whoa there! Weren't you just a darling little thing in pigtails like yesterday? Glad you had a nice time at the parties. Cocktails are a total plus! Woo Hoo! Last drink I had was on Valentines Day (raspberry truffle girly drink). That memory will have to last me a while. So you are a hockey fan! How fun! Do you and DH make it to any games? Since I grew up in Denver and it is still pretty close by we are Avalanche fans. We used to go to games but have had to settle for tv games. Right now DH is all wrapped up in the NBA playoffs (I swear ESPN is like on ALL THE TIME when he is home). We are pretty stoked the Nuggets are still in it right now. DH went to Loveland Colorado (45 min from Denver) for work. They have a huge outlet mall there as well as access to regular shopping so I am very disappointed not to be with him.

Lisa- I just noticed...you're just a couple days away from 12 weeks! Yahoo!!!

The expo went really well, thanks for asking! I was able to leave and go rest both days, so even though I was tired at the end (and my ankles were HUGE from standing so much), I wasn't completely exhausted. Everyone was really helpful...it felt so weird to have people do things for me (my OB said I wasn't allowed to lift more than 20 lbs., which is really not that much). Spent most of yesterday with my feet up and ankles are back to normal.

Thanks Lisa-I did speak to my midwife today and she thinks things are fine-the nausea is by no means gone-just a tad bit better mainly in the morning. All other symptoms are going strong, sore boobs, indigestion, constipation, tiredness, back pain, peeing etc. Since my beta has peaked and is kind of plateauing (not dropping) she thinks it could have something to do wi th tha. I have an appt with her next week for the doppler hearing but with my retroverted uterus-we may not hear it but she said they also have a vaginal doppler for just those cases.
Hopefully I can relax until then. I have also found many posts online about other prego's symptoms starting to get better aroundish 9 weeks or so.

Cindy-DH was excited for the arms waving-it was so cool to see. I thought him being at the u/s for the first time would make it more real to him but he said it was aleady real to him-he's such a stinker sometimes! haha

Sam that's great news! Wow, everything is happening so fast. You must be on pins and needles. But definitely try to stay calm and relaxed. We're all for you and sending you lots of . Unfortunately no signs of . But that's ok. I know my body has always had a cooky way of dealing with AF. When she's ready she'll show up. But I am excited though. I have my first appointment for acupuncture tomorrow. Decided on which practice to go with on Monday, called and they were able to get me in this week. So I'm very excited and hopeful. As for the cocktails over the weekend had some awesome pomegrenate martinis. Wasn't in the mood for beer, so I figured I'd try one out, what the hell. Boy, they were yum-o(a la rachel ray). Needless to say I had more than one!

Lisa-I have a liking for all sports. Hockey, baseball, football and basketball. Never been to a soccer match though. Haven't really been to many of the Hawks games. They are pretty expensive, even for the cheap seats. Plus with DH and my different schedules we have to plan things way in advance. Fortunately we can see some of the games on satellite. As for the Bulls, all I can say is that they've played their hearts out. Will they make it past the Celtics-I'm hoping.

Jill-Your Dh saying that it was already real to him was probably just a front. Gotta do that whole guy thing and play it off,ya know. Will he be able to make your next appointment with the doppler?

Heather-Good to hear all went well with your booth. But definitley take it easy and be sure to sit down and rest. Let your DH do all the lifting-boxes, bags of groceries, laundry baskets.

Hi Maren!!!!

Have to get back to doing my house chores. Was out all day with my mom shopping. She wanted to get some dress shoes and stuff as my niece is making her first communion on Saturday. Saturday is my 20yr high school reunion too. Can't make it though. The luncheon is at the same time as my niece's lunch. Oh well. Will have to wait til the next one. Have a great evening everybody.

Well I'm so excited for everyone on this board today. It seems there is so much progress for everyones dreams.
Lisa, HUGE congrats on your 12 week birthday

Popcorn, I'm so happy your adventure has begun again and that you are feeling excited and motivated to start working on your little miracle again. Its going to be great!

Sam, this couldn't of worked out better and I'm just so excited for you! Pretty soon you'll be in that two week wait drinking grape juice and making hubby do all the work all while knowing that there is a very good chance that a little bean is snuggling into place.

Jill, beginning the decent into no m/s is great and just another sign that your getting closer and closer to your new beginning!

Heather, it sounds like your pregnancy is going well and while you may get swollen ankles, its great that your booth went well and you got some extra special attention.

AFM, had another u/s yesterday and everything was perfect. Each one of these I feel a little more and more relaxed although I am just so excited to hit the 24 week mark where these little babies are viable.

To the rest of the saddle club I hope your lives are progressing in the direction of your choosing. As tommorrow is the due date for my first pregnancy I have realized while you never forget, it does get easier each day although sometimes the memories still remain fresh. Huge hugs to you all
