Sam I am so terribly sorry. But this is not the end of the road for you, just another stepping stone. Thats great your RE is brining your file to the others and I just know their synergy will bring you a little baby. Goodluck to you and I can't wait to see you post your bfp very soon

Hi Samantha,

I hope time goes quickly and the 3rd is here soon too! The waiting is so hard. Are you doing ok? I still think this will all work out in the end.

I'm hanging in there. The m/s seems a little better but is still hanging around. i still have to take the meds to keep from barfing a lot. We had an appt friday but they just did some bloodwork and hb on doppler. We go back in 4 weeks for the quad screen and in 6 weeks for an u/s. Hopefully we will find the sex out. I'm nervous. Even though this baby was very planned and I have had a crazy 1st trimester. It is just now starting to feel real. I guess in so many ways I felt we would lose this baby too. It's not over yet (not even close) but now that we are into the 2nd tri and thinking about the sex it really hits home....Wow!

Hang in there! I send you lots of prayers and love! Hope you have a good weekend!

Hi Ladies

Thank you all very much for such great support. I just needed a couple of days to get my head on straight. My RE called me to let me know how discussion went. They are having me go in for a hystoroscopy(sp) with an endomitiral bioposy ( again SP) next week so they said no unprotected sex I wanted to try on our own but I guess not this month. Once I get again it will be the pill then back to lupron but it won't start till supression check then they will up my dosage of meds again!!! Unfortunately this has taken quite a toll on me emotionally and I will also be going to see a councelor. My DH wants no one to know what we are doing and I am having a very difficult time with this now. Trust me I don't want the world to know but I would like to tell my family at least. I just never expected to go on for this long. I just figured once I had a baby it would not be so hard but boy was I wrong.

I hope everyone is doing well!

Samantha

Samantha,
Well, that is good that at least you know what the plan is. The whole IF thing is very stressful. Going to a counselor sounds like a good way to work through some of the feelings that make this so hard. I can't believe you have been all on your own thus far. Don't get me wrong, DH's are good support but for me it has been very helpful to share our struggles with a few family members and friends. You have done a fantastic job so far of keeping a good attitude and hanging in there. Anytime you need to talk I am here to listen too. Right before I found out about this pregnancy I was researching local IF support groups and seriously thinking about talking to someone professionally. That bfp did not change me, in fact in a lot of ways it made my feelings even more complicated. I am just so grateful to have wonderful ladies on this forum to reach out to as well as the family support. Big big for you. I know this is not easy. Anything I can do to help, just count me in!

Hey Sam, I'm glad you are doing well! After doing the process for over a year I realize how much it takes out of a person. Keep your chin up, its going to happen for you!

Afm, I'm doing good. I'm on bedrest for the rest of the preganncy due to some post-cervical check spotting. It only last an hour but better safe than sorry right? I'm just so afraid of preterm labor and just can't imagine losing these babies after making it this far...terrifiying! If you guys have any extra left, please save one for us!

How is everyone else doing? Lisa & Heather I haven't see you on either board in a long time, I hope all is well!

Hi ladies!

Sorry to be MIA for a while...I've started to get some energy back and so I've been getting caught up on life. It's funny though...it seems like I tend to have a couple good days and then a day that I feel horrible. Yesterday my whole body was achy, my head hurt, I was nauseous and exhausted, but today I feel good again. So hopefully I will have a couple of days like this.

Sam- I'm glad they've got a plan for you, and I'm really happy you're taking care of yourself emotionally...everything about this process is so draining on us emotionally.

Lisa- SO glad you're starting to feel better! Every time i feel crappy I think of you (nice, right?) because I think of what a hard time you've had and how comparatively easy I've had it.

Maren- hope you're hanging in there on bedrest! I saw on our other thread that Saturday was rough for you...glad yesterday was better.

I'm just counting down the days until Thursday when I have an ultrasound and OB appt...my DH and I invited my mom to come to this one, and she is so excited. I as always have anxiety (usually worst late at night when I'm trying to sleep) that something has gone wrong, but I'm trying to be positive!

Hi Ladies

It was so nice to see some updates

Maren - Sorry to hear of the bedrest but all worth it in the long run. What are you doing to keep busy?

Lisa - so happy ms is getting better. How exciting that you are going to look for furniture. Have you seen any bedding you like?

Heather - I hope you have a great time with DH and Your mom at you us. It is so hard not to worry but with each appt you must feel better and better.

Ladies will you all be finding out the sexes of your babies?

AFM- I had my post today and I am looking for ER and ET week of July 22nd. They changed my meds. This time I will be doing lupron no BCP this time. They upped my meds to 600 units of Gonal F . That must be the max dose a little scary. She also said that we can put back 3 if we have 3 available. So I am looking forward to the summer. I am thinking about going back to acupuncture.

I hope everyone is doing well.

Samantha

Samantha,
Good to hear you have a new plan. I am sure july will be here before you know it! Do you and DH have any fun plans for the summer? Also, I am sure the accupuncture will help too! You are such a strong woman and I know that this struggle can take it's toll. But, hang in there. I don't understand why things happen the way they do but I do know that you have done an amazing job of getting back in that saddle and facing the bumpy road. I have to believe it is all going to work out in the end. I continue to think of you and for your baby to come!

Heather,
Stay positive sweetie! I hope you have more good days then bad. Also, it made me laugh that you think of me on the crappy days! Sometimes I feel like I am a freak with all this m/s! Most people I meet are all "Oh, I only was sick a few times if that". Ugh! I hope the twins are doing great and growing big!

Maren,
How is bedrest going?

Hey Samantha (and all)!

Glad to hear you get a break from the meds. It's amazing the toll they take on our bodies. Hope this is THE cycle!!!

I am good. This was an exciting week because my DH felt one of the babies move for the first time. He jumped back and had the most shocked look on his face...I found it very comical.

Samantha,

Yay! It will be so good to be drug free for a while! Have you gone back to acupuncture?

Oh, and I am happy to report on of the girls (that lost her baby) from my old due date club is again. She did IVF and so far so good.....I am just so excited for her and for all of us who have had loss.

All is well here. I am getting bigger. The button popped off on my pants I was hoping to wear to a wedding this weekend. So, it is maternity clothes time. DH & I also finally bought something for the baby.... a travel system. Last time I had a couple cute outfits. When I had to put them in the memory box it was so awful that this time we have held off buying anything for quite a while. How strange that the first thing DH wants to buy is the carseat/stroller! But I let him take the lead. It has helped me to feel more accepting that things will hopefully work out this time.

and for all!

Yeah Sam for a plan in action Enjoy your month off meds, get nice and tipsy one night, go on a little trip and make sure and take a picture of your pre-baby belly, because July is going to be your month!!!! 3 embabies, are you prepared for triplets (ha like who is)

Glad you other are doing well! I agree it was difficult buying items at first. I've now gone crazy and not sure what I'll do if something were to happen. I won't have to worry about that!

Bedrest is fine, right at a month now. I now get two outings per week and can meander around the house in the afternoons so its really not too bad. Just hoping these babies keep on growing and stay inside for a few more months!
