Thank you so much Dre & Lisa! I am feeling a little better today. I think you are both right and I do agree that everyone has their struggles. I am going to try to feel happy for them, but I think I'm going to feel sorry for myself the rest of the weekend first Thank you for saying I will be a mom one day Dre, I needed to hear that. Sometimes I feel like stopping everything, getting on the pill and enjoying my life. But I know I can't do that until I've tried everything else first. Lisa, you are right about people who haven't had IF problems, they try but they can't understand. Lucky for me, my brother and SIL live in another state so I won't have to see them anytime soon. But I live in the "home" state so I get to see everyone connected to them on a weekly basis so I think thats where my issue lies, I'm the connection to them.

Anyways, enough about me and my drama. Lisa, I'm so sorry reared her ugly head. I think its a hard decision on what to do regarding the drugs. Myself, I would take the clomid and not wait another cycle if I didn't have to. Of course there is something to be said about letting your body take a rest as well. Dre is better at that than myself, I'll take about anything the re is willing to give me so maybe you should listen to what she has to say on this one Whatever you do, I hope it works for you!!

I don't have much time but I wanted to let you know that I am ... I won't believe it myself until I see that HB, but for now I'm pregnant.
Right now they are concerned about my high TSH levels, so I am dealing with that. Please say a prayer for our little bean.

Bully and WGA I have a question for you both.... Why do you both continue to do IUI's when IVF has a 60% success rate for our age group (and I'm older than you both)? Just wondering?

Sorry this is so short, but I had to share....

WGA ~ glad that you are in a better space (a little bit, and you will have your ups and downs)...
Bully ~ you are such a GREAT FRIEND, I can tell!

OMG Dre!

YAY! I am SO happy for you right now! I know you are proabaly freaking out, right? But this is fabulous news! Congratulations! Happy dance time!!! So, please, please keep us posted on how you are doing. I know mentally this is a big thing right now and I want to be here for you because you need it. This is the safe place to voice your fears and spread your joy. It gives me great hope to hear of your blessing! And of course I will be for you!

I have not progressed to IVF yet because the nearest RE is 5 hrs away. See, we live in a tiny town in Nebraska so for now my only option is the OB 30 miles away. But, I have an appt Monday with him and I hope the clomid will do the trick like last time. But honestly, I am on the verge of going to the RE if no success in the next few cycles. I really kick myself for moving here BEFORE getting pregnant. We though we were doing the right thing by moving back home close to family and out here we can afford a big ol' house. HA HA jokes on us, big house no kids and virtually no doctors around. Oh well, we will take it a day at a time for now.

Yippee, Yippee, Yippeeeee Dre!!! This is such great news!!! No one could possibly deserve it more, you are such a supportive, caring and intuative person, and you should have a ton of kids! I really have a good feeling about this one. Early today I thought of you and decided that you were pregnant since you hadn't said anything yet. And now I just know its going to be ok. I know you are probably really scared and that is normal, just try and enjoy the moment. Check out the song "Heavenly Day" by Patti Griffin. When you have more time or you feel more comfortable discussing, please let us know the details. We are here for you in happiness and sadness. You've helped so many people through their really bad days, so please allow us to help support and celebrate this wonderful occasion and everyday until you become a beautiful mommy once again!! Have a great weekend and huge CONGRATS again

As for me and IVF. You're right, in hindsight I should of done it long ago. I guess the original plan the RE gave me was 3 IUI's with Clomid and then 3 IUI's with injects and then 3 IVF's. So I suppose I've just been following the plan. Plus getting pregnant twice with IUI probably has given me too much hope. If someone were to psyco-analyze me they'd probably tell you that I'm scared of finally using the big guns and it failing. Anyways, now I'm getting excited to do it and if this IUI doesn't work out, I will be bugging you constantly for details about IVF because thats what I'll be doing. The RE said to call if AF starts and they will get me started on BCP. So now the only really bad thing that could happen would be another m/c. Otherwise, positive or negative beta, I'll be happy

hot flashes here I come!

So, I am back on the clomid again. But, since that was how I got pregnant last time I am hopeful it will work again. I also go in friday for a HSG test. Have any of you done that? Just curious if the cramping might be bad.

Hope you all are having a good day!

Hi Lisa - HSG is that the dye through your tubes test? If so I had a fair amount of cramping but it was super fast. Go Clomid . I started Lupron on Saturday and will finish the BCP on Friday. I can't believe it. This cycle is moving right along. Best of Luck with HSG.

Lisa, the hsg for me was not painful at all. I took 800mg of ibuprofen an hour before I went in and the only thing that was uncomfortable was them putting the catheter in. I had no cramping at all when they injected the dye. I highly recommend taking the ibuprofen.

I went back to work today. I was very nervous, but everything went fine. Everyone was really great. I so did not want a big pity party with everyone telling me that they were so sorry and asking me how I am feeling. I know they care, but it just would have upset me.

I wish I could start trying again. I hate all of this waiting. It really sucks. I keep thinking how far along I would be. I can't wait until I am back on track.

I'll be for all of you ladies cycling soon!!!

Daisy ~ I bet going back was hard, how much time were you off? Did DH take time too? I'm glad you are in a supportive enviornment! Waiting will be good, even though I'm sure it's driving you crazy, you need some time to heal your, heart and soul.

Southhampton ~ Are you doing IVF? I didn't see an updated signature, but I'm not one to talk, mine isn't updated.

Bully ~ so this month was a ? I don't think they do HSG's when you are in your 2ww right? I thought you were still waiting, but perhaps AF came?
After the HSG, what's the plan? Good luck and keep us posted on how it goes...

I'm having a hard time today, and I'm sorry I need to vent.... I have no symptoms anymore and I'm scared of another possible MC. I know there's nothing to do but wait untill that darn US, but I'm sad and having a hard time anyway....

I wish I could just be happy like most pregnant women.....

Daisy - I hope your day went well . The waiting is hard.Take time to pamper yourself and DH. Starting up again was a very emotional time for me as well.

Dre- I'm sorry your scared and having a sad day. I feel it is so unfair to have to be so worried when others have not a care in the world. Just try to take it easy. I know easier said than done.Is your ultrasound soon? I did not update my sig because I feel it is obnixous at this point how long mine is. And it really makes me sad to write IVF #4. I thought the last one was my last time .

Totally understand, I'm not updating mine because when I had this fancy thing before the MC, it was hearbreaking to take it off....
Still a hard sad day, I wish my RE did more than 2 BETA'S I would feel better, but I don't want to bug him anymore than I already have dealing with this TSH stuff.....
HUGS to you...... THANK YOU!
US is 3 weeks away, do you understand how far away that is?

Dre,

! I wish I could spped time up for you! Daisy too! The waitng is the worst part of all this. I remember waiting for that 1st u/s and feeling like it was the most long and overly emotional torture ever. Like a 2ww on crack. I have been thinking of you and that everything goes well.

Daisy,
I am so happy that your co-workers have been supportive. I know you were probably dreading going back. But, maybe going back will help to pass the time for you.

Thanks to everyone for the heads up on the HSG test. I will definately take the ibuprofen. Dre, yes, I am unfortunately out of the 2ww, AF came last week. But, Now that I am back on the clomid I feel good about our chances. At least that is what I am telling myself today! Hugs to all!

Dre- I hope this time flies by for you. I know 3 weeks seems like a lifetime away. We wait , wait and then some more waiting.

green eyed monster

Good morning ladies!

Dre, please skip the next papragraph!

So, please forgive me but I need to vent a bit. I ususally don't get too jealous of others getting pregnant despite my struggles. I figure, the more the merrier, right?! So, in my clomid support group there has been an explosion of bfp. Some ladies never posted before but just wanted to share thier good news with our group. Am I happy for them? Yes. Is it selfish of me to wish things would slow down a bit? Probably. We all know how excitng it is to finally share that news, and how you want to yell it from a mountain top you are so filled with joy. So I understand. But, I can't help how my reaction lately has been less then enthused. I feel like a horrible person. I want everyone the get thier wish. But when some do I can't find it in me to be happy for them like I used to be. I noticed that this applies mainly to the ladies I do not know well and have not really posted much or at all. There have been some of the ladies that I have been with for months and I don't feel irritated with them.

And Dre, if you are reading this PLEASE know I am DEFINATELY NOT talking about you. I am over the moon about your good news. I guess when I feel a personal connection to the person it does not bother me. And I know the sadness you have experienced so when you got your happy news I felt like it was such a blessing and gave such hope to me as I wait and pray to join you.

Maybe I am just a bit more cranky because I am back on the meds. I don't know. I just needed to let it out. This whole quest for motherhood takes such a toll on us physically and mentally. I am going to try and refocus my energy on staying postive and hope that will generate some good feelings toward those ladies. Thanks for listening guys. I hope you don't think less of me now that I gave a glimpse of my green eyed monster. I just know that if anyone might understand it would be you.

Hi Samantha,

I am so glad we have found a place to share and offer support. Although, I feel so sad about the circumstances then led us here. I really hope this thread will give the laides here a place that truly understands our "special needs". It is a huge price to pay to be in this club but the door is always open to those in need. You all have helped me deal with all the excitement and sorrow that accompanies ttc after a loss. I am just so grateful to have such a wonderful group! We can get through this. But the journey is easier if you have company.
