Oh boy! I think all the gave me a headache! Luckily yesterday was not too much of a "problem" and today, it was over in a blink of an eye! So, after tomorrow we get to take a break. It just wears me out because DH wants to be seduced the whole darn time and I end up feeling ridiculous and tired. I have even tried to lure him with porn but he won't take the bait. Maybe the role playing will help. It is funny but I usually can't shut up most of the time but when in the bedroom I feel so dorky when doing dirty talk. DH loves it. But it is all I can do not to roll my eyes and laugh. Oh well, the things we do.

Hey lady! So, I totally get how you want nothing but the u/s right now. I have been thinking of you and Maren and really feel good about this. I predict 1 bean. Sorry you are going psycho but that is probably to be expected. How are you managing to keep busy and semi-sane? So funny how your DH is pestering you for action of some sort. When I first told my DH I was pregnant last time one of his first responses was "I'm horny" Yuck! Ok so, no offense but the last thing I wanted was anything to do with his penis. I mean Hello! Just 2 weeks ago I was having to go to great lengths to make "it " happen and now that we did not need to, his first thought is that. I made him wait till after the u/s and yes, he was not getting much action of any other variety either. Men are strange creatures. Oh, and yes I love how you and I are connecting here. It is refreshing to find a kindred spirit!

Yay yay yay! Great beta! I am sure you felt so happy but probably 5 minutes later the anxiety of waiting for the u/s kicked back in. I prayed extra hard that your beta would double. So happy for you! The heartbeat monitor sounds like a great idea. Anything to reassure you is helpful. I am glad you and Dre have each other right now too. Although we all know how scared and hopeful you must feel right now it is much different to actually be in the reality of all of this rather then just the idea. I hope you know how much I think of you and really wish for this to be your time. I will be here for you to share all those feelings and I hope you get everything you wish for and more. Hugs!

Ok so I can picture frosting everywhere! Ha ha! I wish my DH was into the clean house thing. That would be awesome! But alas, he is totally oblivious to the clean house. In fact, he thinks we have "cleaning dwarfs" that tidy up while he is away and the "food fairy" fills the fridge and cupboard. When he comes home I can find him by the trail of stuff he seems to leave in his wake. Briefcase here, clothes there, mail over here, etc. Then he is on to the fridge to see what the "food fairy" left him. So, how are you doing? I am glad that you have been keeping up with our crazy goings on here!

Good luck! It is so hard to keep that positive attitude and I am glad to see you are embracing the future wholeheartedly. That does not mean there is no doubt or fear but to put that faith and trust that God wants good things for us can relive some of the pressure. Please keep us posted!

Dre, thank you again for your congrats and PM! The reason I think you are having twins is b/c of your betas. Now if this were your first pregnancy it wouldn't really matter, but b/c you've had a successful singleton pregnancy before and your betas now are about triple what they were then, I figure it must be twins. I also just really have a "feeling" about it. You never know I'm like you though, I'll be over the moon with any type of heartbeat whether it be 1 or 3

Bully ~ How am I managing to stay semi-sane (you really do ask some great questions).... I have PM'ed a few others that didn't have symptoms at all as well, and made myself feel a little better. Staying off of the forums as much helps (weird how it actually can tend to make you feel worse). I also have been trying to get out of the house as much as possible, and luckly the weather has been on my side! Other than that, I feel really like my life is on hold and I'm just going throug motions.... It's strange...
When do you get a sex break? Wow, DH would love to be in his position now, poor guy hasn't gotten anything!

I too am cycling (IVF)! I've been taking 450 a day of gonal since Thursday. I went for my first follie check this morning, but nothing really happening yet. I go back on Tuesday, so wish me luck! It feels good to be back in the saddle again too!

Hey ladies, just checking in. It started to post on Friday and then work swept me away from that.

I am so happy for you ladies starting your cycles. I'm also a little jealous! I can't wait until we can start trying again. I hope everything goes well.

How are all the ladies doing today? Hope you are all feeling ok. Keep us posted on any ultrasounds.

I'm am doing pretty good. I think my body is starting to return to normal. I just wonder when I am going to start me period again. That would be a good sign that everything is getting back on track.

AFM, well......not sure if -a-thon is over yet or not. I got my +opk friday cd 15 and we had already been doing "it" for the past 4 days. So, we have continued every day and I hoped last night would be the last. But, I have started BBT charting again and I still do not have a rise in temps (cd19). I am conflicted about what to do about progesterone supplementation. The OB gave me a rx and said I can decide to either A) take it after ovulating or B) take it as soon as I get a BFP. I was hoping for a rise in temp today so I could start the prometrium tonight. I just am worried I have not ovulated yet and taking it too soon would be bad. The Ob is pretty sure I am ovulating since I have had 2 pregnancies (1 natural/ectopic, 1 clomid /MC) and that my problem is more of a luteal phase defect due to low progesterone. All of my other clomid cycles I got my +opk on cd15/16 and AF came 14/16 later. So, this falls in line with that but I am sort of confused about starting the progesterone. Any theories?

Thanx for the warm welcome. Hope everyone had a great weekend. Just wanted to post on good days and not only bad days. Daisy, was glad to hear from you. I can understand about your body getting back to normal. Am feeling the same way. So much so that I worked up the nerve to call RE and set up appointment to start bloodwork(tracking hcg levels). They wanted me to call last week but I couldn't. Hormones and head were all over the place, couldn't think straight. This week is a lot better. Time does heal everything. Daisy, I'm praying that you can start soon.

Lisa, yes 3rd beta is on Thursday and I'm so nervous. I just really want to hear that it doubled, none of this 60% stuff. Everyday is a roller coaster, but I'm glad I'm on it.

As for progesterone, my RE makes me start it 3 days after O. He said once you already have a BFP its too late really to get started if your prog. is natually very low. So my two cents would be to wait until your temp goes up or Wedensday which ever is sooner.

AFM, I have been so lovable today and kinda sad that I can't bd with DH. We havne't really touched or snuggled since the bfp b/c it makes him way too excited and thats just mean. I'm sure this will pass as well, but this is the longest we've ever gone in over 12 years without sex so its kind of weird (I know I was glad the other day but after over a week I'm starting to miss it).

I got a call from the nurse today to set up an appt with the Re, I go in on Monday. SHe said unless he says differently we will probably start stims early april and transfer around the 20th. I was so excited then the Dh called and said they cut his pay at work and now I am scared. The cost of IVF (meds, appts) is already straining us and I fear now we wont be able to support a baby but the way the economy is going I doubt we will ever be "financially" secure. Oh the decisions we have to make. Just wanted to vent I have had a few rough days were all I think about is why did this happen to us? I have a girl at work who is 20 wks and she drinks reg coffee is overweight and not happy about this pregnancy, why her and not me? Life is so unfair. to all and I continue to for all!

Bits ~ Sorry to hear you are in such a corner (it sounds like), babies are expensive, but you cut corners in other places and get second had stuff where needed, and you make it work. Eating out or going on dates and spending $60.00 doesn't matter any more when you come home to a LO. I promise. So if you can afford one more IVF the sooner the better, on the back end, once there is a baby, you will make it happen. I bet you and DH are smart that way. You are still dealing with your loss, and things right now probably seem very over-whelming..... What are you doing to de-stress?

WGA ~ all goes well with your BETA, we can't compare a 3rd BETA, as I didn't have one, but I know you will be GREAT!
I have a question for you though.... I see your age, and I see that you have been with DH for 12 years, how did you meet him and how long total have you been together? WOW! That's a long time! DH and I have been married for 6 years in June, so you have been together a lot longer! VERY COOL!

Daisy ~ I too hope you can start soon too, it will be healing for you to be excited about the possiblity of a future (like Bits and anj as well)..... It's the only thing that helped me.

Lisa ~ I don't know what to say about the pogest. question, I don't feel like I know enough to help.... I guess if it was me I would look it up, but that can be scary, so maybe you should call your OB and see what he/she suggests?

Popcorn ~ Glad you posted on a better day too, that's healthy... After my MC I had to stay away from the forum because I thought every one was going to have a MC just like me, and I was waiting for it to happen, I thought that was terrible, and I had to get my head back straight..... It took about a full month to do so.

Still waiting and waiting and waiting, is it just me, or don't you guys think I have been waiting way too long!
