Question Can anyone help me?

After weeks of trying to get a hold of my doctor, I finally got him to schedule me an appointment for blood work as well as an ultrasound. Anyhow because I don't produce progrestrone I have to take provera every month for a period. He had me take it this month and come for my routine ultrasound. To make a long story short, I guess because I don't get my periods on a regular basis, I have a large amount of excessive bleeding every time I take provera. My doctor prescribed the provera again and told me that he will most likely have to do an D&C and a hysteroscopy. Now I know what a D&C is because I had one for my last miscarriage back in 2007 however I'm unfamiliar with the hysteroscopy. Someone told me that it was much like a colonoscopy through the other end.

When I asked my doctor though if I could get pregnant he said eventually.

So I guess what I am asking is if anyone has ever had the hysteroscopy done before and if so what will it provide for me.

Post Hysteroscopy

I just had this procedure done on April 16th and then again on the 23rd.
It did not hurt a bit the first time. They warn you of potential bleeding and cramping after but I had none of it.
The second one was a bit painful - a different doctor did it. I had a little bit of cramping after.
Anyway, they do it to look at the uterus - in my case they wanted to make sure that its shape did not cause a pregnancy loss.
Good luck! Hope this is helpful.
