BFP after MC? Could it be?

I had a MC @ 15 weeks on Sept. 9th and just tested positive on a digital HPT today. Last week, i did a pregnancy test just to make sure my hormones are back to normal and got a negative. I keep having off and on cramping, mild back pain and feel nausea at times so I decided to pee on a stick...and to my surprise it was a positive. My only concern is that I'm still spotting. Could it be from implantation bleeding from the new pregnancy or was that positive result wrong? Anyone experience this before? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
