No Heart Beat For One Twin

Hi Everyone

Today my husband and I found out that we had lost one of our twins. Twin A was doing well with a strong heat beat but twin B had no heart beat. It's strange because I just heard both heart beats yesterday. How could this happen in just one day?? I feel so sad but happy we still have our one twin. Am I been punished? Is it something I did?? I am now worried and anxious for my next ultrasound which is a week away. Any success stories after losing one twin would be greatly appreciated. Thanks..

Sue

nothing you did

It's nothing you did. It's called vanishing twin. The same thing happened to me. Just love and take care of the one you still have. Being sad and stressed is not good when you are pregnant. Just know that you did everything you could. These things happen sometime. Your baby knew that he/she was loved!
