anybody get cycle induced after m/c? how about going on bcp?

I have a history of irregular cycles so I'm trying to figure out how this will work for me. Often times, I would have to get Provera to induce AF.

OR, I would go on bcp for a month before an injectables cycle to suppress my body which always seemed to make my response to the injectables much better.

Is it even possible to start bcp a week after a natural m/c? I'm trying to not lose any time here.

Let me first start by saying how sorry I am for your loss. I'm keeping you and your family in my .

Regarding starting your cycle. Well I too have irregular cycle due to PCOS and I always started it with Provera or BCP.
When I asked my RE about it he told me to wait for the bleeding of the D&C stop then wait to see if my cycle would start naturally.I think he told me to wait about 6-8 weeks and if it didn't start naturally for me to call them.
I was very surprised when it did.
I had my D&C on 07/13 and AF showed up on 08/21. In my case he wanted me to wait and only re-start treatment on my second AF.
THere I was again freaking out that it wasn't going to come. I was wrong again. AF showed up on 09/19, but if it hadn't I would have called them to either take BCP for 2wks or take Provera for 10 days.
I would say, just wait and see (at least for the first 6-8 weeks). This wound is so fresh right now, take a little time to heal.
If that is not optimal for you then I would definitely talk to your RE and see if he agrees and lets u take BCP.
Good luck and I hope that everything works out for you.
