I am now 27 days past my miscarriage at 18 weeks. I delivered the baby and placenta, but a week later expelled his twin and over the next week or so continued to pass tissue and placenta from the twin (sorry TMI). I stopped bleeding pretty much last week, but then had what looked like EWCM that would normally indicate I was ovulating last weekend.

Yesterday I started spotting and lightly cramping again. My HCG levels were back to normal a week ago.

Is it possible AF could be on her way in the next two weeks if I did in fact ovulate? Is it true that you need to have no bleeding for a specific amount of days before you get AF? My doctor said it could come anywhere from 28 - 90 days after the miscarriage.

Of course I am anxious to start a cycle so I can get my FSH/TSH bloodwork drawn and move forward with TTC.

I understand how you feel. I had a miscarriage in September. Wasn't sure if I should have treated it as a period...but two weeks later I did ovulate (used OPK and all fertility signs were there) and 2 weeks after that I got my period. I'd not seen my cervical fluid line up with OPK before, so I was wondering if my miscarriage actualy helped my fertility somehow? I am normally 26-28 days.

You should be getting it soon!!!!

hi there, i'm new here
i had a d&c at the end of August and AF only arrived 8 weeks later. I'm on my first post mc cycle right now.
So it varies from person to person.

Thanks for your feedback...I am now 36 days past my m/c, and I believe AF started yesterday. I had been spotting here and there up until last weekend, then this whole week nothing. Yesterday morning I awoke to what looked and felt like a real period. I was so relieved, but it slowed down. I am thinking this is just going to be a light one, and maybe next month it will be more normal.
