I had a D&C on November 20th, and stopped bleeding about a week ago. Last night, my husband and I BD, and I had my first f/u doctor appt. today. The doctor told me to stay on vaginal rest for about 5 more weeks, and come back to the doctor on 1-7-08. She said as long as everything still looks good, I can start TTC again at that point. I was embarassed, so I didn't tell her we had sex last night. She told me she didn't want anything going in my vagina until everything in there was healed (risk of infection I guess). Should I be worried? I thought I read that you could do it again after all the bleeding stopped. UUUUUUUUGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH. Do I need to call and tell her? Do I just wait it out until the next appointment and hope everything looks good?

I haven't had a D&C so I don't know. I was told after my miscarriage with methotrexate that we could BD after the bleeding stopped but to really protect ourselves against conceiving again too quickly. With D&C being a surgery I'm sure things are different.
