Hello,

I just wanted to introduce myself: I'm the writer for the new Fertilityblog on adoptionblogs.com:

infertility.adoptionblogs.com

I'll be covering my own journey as a fortyish woman trying to conceive naturally after a bunch of miscarriages (and also considering adoption). We won't be ttc until the end of spring, when my teaching is done (stresses me out). But in the meantime, I've been amassing a trove of wellness ideas, fun organic fashion (yes!) tips, emotional issues surrounding secondary infertility.

I have finally found a doctor who seems to understand my immune issues; long story short, I have a host of immune problems, very weird/heavy menstrual cycles, and other worrisome things for which my GYN friend urged me to get endo biopsies, etc., because she was so worried but which this new doc has helped me to fix with simple, gentle measures like fish oil, baby aspirin, and something called Folguard. Even if this doesn't result in an eventual pregnancy, it's great to be feeling better. I plan to write about him soon, so please come by.
