Randine Lewis - The Infertility Cure
This book looks at infertility from the Traditional Chinese Medicine's angle but incorporates Western medicine as well.
 It gives you so much hope - I cannot recommend it enough!!!  Have a look on her website for more info.

I actually just started reading this, thanks to Savoie! I had a question about it, so my period is not like what they are talking about, mine is not strong red blood for 5 days, more like brownish, some red for 2 to 3 days.
I am starting to wonder how I can get my cycle back to normal, before BCPs. Any ideas??

I also read this book and loved it...I would highlight and make notes to talk about with my acupuncturist. I am starting my first IVF and really want to go back to acupuncture but just don't have the extra out of pocket money for it right now...sucks. I saw amazing results when I did it for my IUIs..not the main one I wanted, but it showed in my bloodwork that it was helping regulate my hormones. One thing that I found really interesting was you can do acupuncture OR acupressure, weeks that we didn't have the extra cash I would have DH stimulate the points that they would normally place the needles in during acupuncture. This info is in Chapter 7..

I just started to read this book too and I love it. Yes, it does give you hope and a better understanding on what we are going through. I had a high FSH level and after only a month of Acupuncture, Herbs and dieting they are back to normal. Good luck to you all.

ME 35 & DH 31 Married for 5 years TCC: 35YEARS Starting 2003 TTC 2003: 3 Round of Clomid - FAILED 2004 1st Lap: Found severe scarred tissue and 2 blocked tubes from a ruptured appendix at age 5. Also have cysts, endo, hyrosalphinx  Found out only way to get PG was thru IVF. 2005: Took a break May 2006: TCC thru IVF (PACIFIC INVITRO) May 2006: 2nd Lap now one unblocked tube. May 2006: High FSH Level June 2006: Started prenatal, asprin, Lupron, Follistim/Repronex, Progestrone July 20, 2006: Egg retrieval 13 eggs July 23, 2006: Only 8 embys made it TRANSFERED (2 A's&2 B's) Aug 2, 2006: Beta BFN Sept, Oct, Nov Dec IUI w/clomid 50 & HCG Jan 11, 2007 Lap (both tubes blocked regrowth) 2007-2008: Tried Acupuncture & Herbs

I too cannot say enough about this book. It is wonderful and it has help me understand my body more and my fertility journey. I would recommend it too anyone TTC.

 DH: 29 Beautiful daughter born 4-23-03 TTC since Feb 2005 - didn't ovulate Started treatment Aug 2006 6 rounds of clomid tubes are open bloodwork is good 3 rounds of femara/follistim/HCG 2 IUIs 6 months of acupuncture Moving on to infant domestic adoption!  Officially waiting to be matched!! -- June '08

GREAT Book... have any of you attended one of the retreats? I've been looking into them, but I'd be interested to see what your experiences were.
