i just googled "Does DHEA help fertility" and there is very interesting info I think you should all read, no better weapon against defeat then education. I feel very encouraged and I'm thinking that this might be something worth trying, let me know what you think if you take the time to check it out. till then.............

I'm feeling a little better today and being at work is actually a welcome distraction. I have an appt with my RE on Friday, I have so many questions. How is everyone else doing today?

Well I finally found the thread so I'm sure I'll be posting here a bit. I can say 1 thing about this whole process, there are people in the world that do care about others. With all of the negative news out there, it really is nice to know that there are still good people

Although I'm still a little emotional I just keep saying that I don't have time to be. This cycle I'm not telling anybody anything except DH and my lovely friends on here. Noone will understand anyway, so what's the point.

My situation is a little different - my DH doesn't have any biological children and I want very much to give him 1. And although he keeps saying that having me is enough, I know deep in his heart he would love a child. His family isn't very supportive of him and both of his siblings have children. It's so hard to finally find my soul mate after 2 failed marriages (1 was abusive and I was really young, and the other was just not the right person) and not be able to share something so special.

to you both.
I hate that you are in the BFN, but I felt a strong need to reach out to you. It is still so fresh for me. I feel like maybe my wounds will get better if I can help yours get better, could this make sense?
This site provided me w/some of the comfort that I could find NO WHERE else. I am getting a little stronger every day and the first 24 hours, I didn't think I could get through it.
I shared w/way to many friends this past cycle and couldn't speak to any of them, it's gut wrenching to have to say it didn't work, but that's THIS TIME!
Hopefully I get another go and no one will be told either, I only want to be able to share the news if it is successful.
I couldn't speak to anyone, I would just bawl and explode. I had so many different feelings, loss, depression, anger, dispair, I could go on and on.

The fact that you are in this together w/your soul mate means the world, thank god you have found each other. You are going through this for him, and the both of you, to create the greatest miracle, and you will get stronger to give it yet another try. It's not over yet! Maybe we can succeed together!

Hi Ladies,

This is a great thread and I think I really needed it. I feel like after I got my BFN - a whole bunch of ladies got their BFP's and although I was happy for them, I was pretty miserable and jealous. I have needed somewhere else to belong.

I am so sorry that we are all going through this. It just sucks, but we are determined, and I think we will all get our miracles soon.

Sherry, where in NY are you? I am in NY too - in Westchester.

Journey - hang in there - my DH says, it took a long time for him to find me and I was worth the wait and so is our baby. You found your DH and you will have your baby!

Kelli - my July buddy......are you starting up again in September?

Hi Rosie,

It sucks that we are members of the BFN club, but, there will be joy for every one of us, there has to be. I'm glad you can vent here, we don't want to be the rain on the others parades, so we can just express what we need to here!
I'm in Westchester too, where are ya, we're probably within miles of each other. Where is your RE?

My internet connection is just crazy. I tried to post yesterday, replying to where I live. I am in NH and I go to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. My DH is an RRT there. We have full coverage for this with a 1000.00 deductable. We are so very lucky.
Hope you guys are doing well.

I understand about the jealousy thing Rosie ! And then I would feel bad for being angry about their BFP'S !!

I looked up a lot of articles on DHEA, I must have been reading the negative articles ! I found all this stuff about increased chance's of Ovarian/Breast CA. I'll do some more research ...

Hi Nicki, good to hear back from you. And I am feeling BETTER, thank god, today, thanks for asking.

Now all I can think about is trying again, I'll take the shots, the constant blood tests, I'll take it all, and I'm a chicken that hates needles more than anything. I want to try IVF#2 ASAP so I'll see what the RE says on Friday. I wonder how he will tweak the new cycle, and I have so many questions for him, he's going to throw me out of the office, lol.
If he puts me on BCP after my NEXT period for another 3 weeks than I'm looking at starting the injectibles around the 3rd week of September, and I'm supposed to go to California that weekend for my cousin's wedding w/mom. How the hell will I do the shots w/o DM? Maybe the protocol w/be completely different this time. I consider this my first priority and if that means I can't go to the wedding, I won't. Imagine security at the airport questioning me about the meds/needles, some if it has to be in a cooler, that's just crazy, how would I pull it off? And if the date are correct I guess I would have a retrieval sometime in the first week of October?

OMG how funny, it always seems that all the NY ladies are from Long Island.

I am in Cortlandt Manor, near Peekskill. I have been going to Montifiore in Hartsdale on Central Ave. Dr Illions. I had a 2nd opinion with Dr Bennett in Yorktown, and now we have to decide which RE. I have no IVF insurance so either way it is out of pocket.

Where are you? Who is your RE?

I am glad you are feeling better. It really does get better after a while. I am starting to look forward to my next cycle too.
